Hostel Fee and Facility Guidelines

  • The AC supply will not be provided from 9 AM to 6 PM. On Sundays, the AC supply will not be provided from 9 AM to 2 PM.
  • The hostel fees have to be paid annually.
  • The hostel term is calculated from July (current year) to June (next year).
  • The hospital facilities will be available 24 × 7 on a chargeable basis to ensure the highest level of medical care.
  • Wi-Fi usage will be limited to educational purposes only.
  • Once the hostel fees are paid, they are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • The hostel fees cannot be paid on a pro-rata basis.
  • The hostel fee includes a pure vegetarian Indian meal consisting of a limited breakfast, unlimited lunch, and dinner.
  • There will be no dinner on Sundays as the mess will be closed.
  • The rooms will be allotted on a “first-come, first-served” basis.
  • Complimentary laundry will be provided for six pairs of clothes every week.
  • Hostel residents will be provided with a one-time complimentary hostel kit that includes a bedsheet, pillow, bucket, tumbler, and other essentials.
  • The water supply will be provided from 5 AM to 9 AM and from 5 PM to 9 PM.
  • The water supply will be available in each room through a common tap throughout the day for a limited time duration.
  • Hot water supply will be available only during the winter months for a limited time duration, from 06:30 AM to 08:00 AM.
  • Additional subscription charges of Rs. 7,500 will be applicable for the usage of the gymnasium, and Rs. 3,500 will be applicable for the swimming pool.

I am from a different state and am currently staying in Parul University’s hostel. 

  • The hostel facility is pretty good and you get your room with a bed, cupboard, study table, study lamp, bedsheets, etc. 
  • The overall hostel infrastructure is good and affordable as well. 
  • The food provided is also pretty good. You get Gujarati, and Rajasthani cuisines mainly.
  • Overall, I would rate Parul University’s hostel a 4 out of 5 for the facilities they offer, and 3 out of 5 for the meals. I think they should include more cuisines.

The mess food in the hostel is served 3 times per day, however, it is closed on Sunday night. The food cooked is excellent and hygienic. They serve all types of cuisines, mainly Gujarati, Rajasthani, etc. Each day's meal is different based on the menu and you will be informed in advance of any daily menu changes. However, please note that there is no provision for non-vegetarian options.
