The City College of MSU Billings offers 18 Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree programs, two Associate of Arts (AA) programs, 5 Associate of Science (AS) programs, one ASN (RN) program, and 11 certificates of applied science programs.

The University awards over 500 scholarships to its students in the form of book scholarships of 200 USD up to full tuition and fees. Overall the university commits around 1.65 million USD in terms of scholarships.

Special Scholarships for International Students-
Work while studying is a program aimed at assisting students financially by providing part-time employment on-campus. The on-campus positions available for international students are hourly paid. There are a number of positions available for international students.
However, there are certain limitations to the positions available for international students and therefore students must contact the Office of International Studies for details.
The minimum hourly rate depends on the current Montana wage and the maximum hourly rate a student can get is 10 USD. A student is allowed to work a maximum of 20 hours a week.
The members of the Montana State University Alumni Association are known as yellow jackets. Graduates from the Eastern Montana College as well as the MSU are a part of the alumni network. Several events of the alumni association are conducted round the year. The association recognizes graduates for excellence in academics every year by giving them the Outstanding Alumni Awards in the fall semester and organizes Golden Alumni Program during the spring semester.
