University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) is a public research university in Baltimore, County, Maryland. It runs under the University of Maryland System. UMBC was established in 1966.
Programs, Campus and Residence
- About 48 undergraduate, 36 masters and 24 doctoral programs under three colleges and four schools are running in UMBC. Some of the popular majors are – Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Computer and Information Sciences, Psychology, Engineering, etc.
- On a 500 acre campus, UMBC offers residential facility includes four apartments that can accommodate around 1000 students, while the six residential halls can accommodate around 2,532 students.
