• University has a good reputation so you will get the interviews from META and Google. My roommates got the call from META and Microsoft. Today's situtation is like companies are rarely hiring international students. Its not university's fault. But yeah job market is very critical. You have to prepare hard. I know some students got the Job in Milwaukee tools and Microsoft and other companies as a AI Enginner. One of my friend's name is Yash Zode (AI Enginner). They are getting paid like 90,000$ on avg a year.
• You will get the calls. But some companies are having their job requirements like apply if you have Green Card or you should be a US Citizen. Yes its true.
• University has a on campus placements. Yes its true. University is really trying hard for a students. University arranging Job fair every 6 months in Student Union. You won't see any FAANG companies but yeah companies like Milwaukee Tools, Rockwail Automation, Northwestern Mutual and US Bank comes On Campus and hire students. Not bad. If you have a skills you can get a job.

• TC Global Consultancy helped me to find the accomodation. If you are new student then you should get a Park 1824. They have their website. As a new student in UWM I suggest Park 1824. It is just 10 mins walking distance far from the University. You will get it in affordable price if you book 2 months before. I have got it for 599$ per month with own room and separate bathroom. You can set your preferance for example if you are indian and you want to live with Indian people only then you have that options. Additionaly, If any student is leaving the apartment then it will not affect you because you are going to pay for your room not for all apartment like usually student does.
• Moreover, You will get furniture, Bed and Mattress and Table and Chair in 599$. 

• Depends on the field. In analytics, it's tough to get a job. Not so much, though, in consulting. 40 percent of my batch got jobs in 3-4 months prior to graduation. The average salary is $55k per annum. Engineering and data analysts make a lot compared to management/finance grads. Aim for business analytics/PM/UX research roles for money. Aim for ERP for an easy/convenient life without experience in India.

• Facebook and whatsapp groups. Beware of scammers and pakistani agents. If you want a single bedroom, you have to pay 600 usd per month, but if you're sharing, 250-300 is good. Recs for apartments- find independent houses on maryland/ farwell lns or find Apartment on N oakland ave ( throughout mke) Sheridan, Capitol crest, fountain view, Candlelight are the best apartments. Find near Hubbard beer garden for the best stay experience and peaceful locations.

• There is at least one job fair in every semester of the course.
• There are many MNCs coming up and showcasing their opening and it's our talent to get a hand on it and impress them with our resume and skills. Starting salary would be from 60000$ minimum and goes up till 120000 based on ur talent and experience. Milwaukee Tools, Rockwell Automation and HSBC are come common companies that are tied up to our university as they conduct workshops / program at CSI (Connected Systems Institute).
• Few provide sponsorship. Also, our university provides STEM OPT for 3 years which is an advantage.

• I knew a person who stayed in Milwaukee. so I approached them via what's app UWM groups to get accommodation
  - Monthly rent is around 350$ including refrigerator, heaters, snow removal, oven, free Wifi, Free gas
  - I didnt face any challenges
• Make sure you check for snow removals option in apartments and better to go with renting apartments than individual houses because you might have to do the maintenance job. There are many websites like Zillow await able
• My apartment is 1.5 miles away from the university. And many student live in the apartment and surroundings

• I live off-campus. I live in an apartment and the search process for getting this accommodation is very smooth. I joined some of the WhatsApp groups and the accommodation is available so I reached out to those people. My monthly rent is $300 and for groceries and all, it's another $300 so my monthly expenses are around.
• $600, and there's so many facilities like AC, heater, and gym in my apartment. I don't feel like there is any challenge in securing an accommodation. Most of the students stay

The cost was good, had a scholarship, close enough to home, sting engineering program. Enjoy the surrounding area, and have lots of student org opportunities. There are also lots of engineering companies in Milwaukee.
