At least three years' full-time (paid) relevant professional work experience.

Doctoral and Postdoctoral Research Fellowships

Must be registered for Ph.D. at an Indian institution.

Recommendation letter from supervisor, mentioning your research, need for the fellowship and Ph.D registration date & topic.

A copy of the original published paper or extracts from the Masters’/ M.Phil thesis.

Academic and Professional Excellence Fellowships

Must have a Ph.D. degree with at least five years of relevant experience.

Must have a master’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience. (for applicants outside academe).

  • Annual family income must be below INR 8,00,000.
  • Minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying degree.
