OUAT Admission 2027 opens through the university’s own Combined Entrance Examination (CEE). Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology runs this state-level exam annually. OUAT offers 665 UG seats across 9 programmes at 5 constituent colleges.

Admission Update:
  • All UG Programmes (B.Sc Agriculture, B.V.Sc & A.H., B.Tech Agril. Engg., B.F.Sc, and others): OUAT 2027 official notification not yet released. Application Form A expected to open March to April 2027 (Tentative). Monitor ouat.ac.in for the official announcement.
  • ICAR AIEEA UG (15% National Quota Seats): ICAR 2027 exam schedule not yet announced. Check icar.org.in for updates.
  • Odisha domicile certificate is mandatory for all 85% state-quota seats at OUAT.
  • The OUAT CEE merit uses a 50-25-25 formula: entrance marks (50%), Class 10 marks (25%), and Class 12 marks (25%).
  • OUAT admission requires two forms. Form A is for entrance exam registration. Form B is for counselling and seat allotment.
  • Application fee for Form A is INR 2,000 (non-refundable, same for all categories).
  • Of 665 seats, 395 are government-rate and 270 are cost-sharing seats. Both use the same entrance process.
  • 88 seats (ICAR/VCI national quota) are open to all-India candidates. The remaining 577 seats require Odisha domicile.
  • B.Sc (Hons) Forestry candidates must also clear a physical fitness test.

Direct Admission at OUAT: OUAT does not offer a management quota. All 665 UG seats are filled through merit and OUAT counselling.
