UNSW Bengaluru’s offer acceptance deadline closes at 12 pm IST on August 5, 2026. Indian admits to Australia’s Group of Eight universities must accept and pay the deposit. UNSW confirmed the timeline on its official Bengaluru admissions page early this month. Orientation runs August 3 to 7, with classes starting Monday, August 10, 2026. UNSW Sydney sits inside Australia’s Group of Eight research bloc. It ranks inside the global top 20 by QS. The Bengaluru launch is India’s first onshore Australian branch under UGC’s 2023 foreign campus rules.

Admissions span five programs: Bachelor of Business, Computer Science, Data Science and Decisions, PR and Advertising, plus a Master of Cyber Security. The 2026 seats are open only to Resident Indians, NRIs and OCIs.
Acceptance takes two steps by August 5. Admissions must accept via the email link and pay the deposit through the Collexo payment system.
Final results uploads close August 7. Tuition falls due August 16, and enrolment shuts August 17.

Which Programs Open in the First Cohort?

Applications for the August 2026 intake are now closed. Admissions are spread across four undergraduate degrees and one postgraduate program.

Both steps must be cleared by 12 pm IST on August 5, 2026. UNSW warns that once program capacity is reached, no further offers or extensions will be issued. Deposit receipts trigger the enrolment slot. A late Collexo transfer can invalidate the seat.

UNSW Sydney remains a top destination for Indian undergraduates on the Australian Student Visa (subclass 500) route. The Bengaluru campus offers the same UNSW-conferred degree without a visa or relocation cost.

The India intake trades the Sydney experience for a lower-friction path to the UNSW brand. Post-study work rights under Australia’s Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) do not apply to Bengaluru graduates by default. Students planning to work in Australia post-graduation must still target the Sydney campus.

What it means for Indian Students: Bengaluru is the cheaper credential route. Sydney remains the pathway if the goal is a subclass 485 post-study work visa or Australian PR.
