    ● Top Answer By Yashmeet Grover on 03 Feb 21

Ans. Both the universities are equally good for mechanical engineering. According to Times Higher Education Rankings 2021 University of Windsor has been ranked #251 and Ryerson University has been ranked #301 for engineering. Here are the pros and cons of both universities: University of Windsor Job after graduation is easier to find in Windsor which can be considered as a better option. The living expenses at Windsor are less and affordable. Part-time job offers are also available. It is offered as a 2 years full-time course so you may feel time and budget restrained. Ryerson University More part –time job opportunities are available in Toronto so plenty of opportunities to support your funds Since it's Toronto, the expenses are also high and you might feel at loss of time and money in spite of working part-time. Ques. Is a statement of purpose required for University of Windsor?

    ● Top Answer By Gaurav Kalsi on 03 Feb 21

Ans. A SOP is required for admissions in nearly all the universities in Canada. However, some courses may or may not need it. Statement of purpose is not required for all the courses in University of Windsor. A good SOP acts as a life saver for your applications as it saves you from rejection. While applying for a Masters of Engineering at Windsor, a statement of purpose is not required, but while applying for a Master of Science course you will need to submit a good one to make an impression. The meaning of SOP is stating your purpose for the application. In this one shares all the personal experience, by giving a firm statement and the reason why he/she is eligible for this course (for the one you wish to study). SOP helps the Universities understand your need and priorities or area of focus. It is also helpful in changing the majors if required. SOP will also help to get a visa for students who want to study abroad. It is mandatory for some courses. It is very important to remember that a SOP will be needed when you apply for your study visa as usually a Canadian Visa process does not need any interview which is not the case in the US.Read more

When i first started looking for universities, UofW stood out to me because of their amazing faculty and the work that they had done in their respective fields. The location of the university was also very favourable and the feedback of the alumni was also very helpful.

    Course Curriculum :

The curriculum at the University of Windsor is excellent and fully curated to the present scenario in the world. The courses are constantly curated and updated according to trends and student needs. A Co-op program is available in which the student can land an internship, which provides them with industry experience.

I had to choose this university as it had a wide variety of subjects of my core which other universities failed to deliver and my aggregate marks satisfied to apply for this university

    Course Curriculum :

The course is going great we are having virtual session and it has helped me alot to develop my skills I guess offline classes will impact the skills more. Overall they think about students so they are only making us study the mandatory subjects due to online and have left the core for later.

University of Windsor offers the flexibility needed for such a vast and rapidly changing field. The research facilities and the faculty at the university are excellent.Windsor. University, being one of its kinds is a great attraction to many undergraduates and full-time graduates due to its extensive capital expansion and endless placements. And I being a sailor in the same boat feel a need to be a part of this reputed University so that I can find an appropriate platform for pursuing my interests.
