Coming to Canada was a dream and to fulfil this dream I had to struggle a lot. I searched many colleges and programs related to my field and I finally found this program where I could learn many new things in just one year. As I had finished my bachelor's in commerce I thought this would work for me and it did. I learned about new cultures and as this college has diversity I learned about different cultures. Many opportunities would open up after the completion of this program and it did.
The IELTS is mandatory for this program as it is for international students only and a minimum of 6.5 is required to be enrolled in this program. As the program is very intense so the focus on each child is very important and to achieve this the batch size is no more than 30 students in a class so every child gets equal attention.
It has a pathway program so I had the option of doing my first year in India at Xplora design school and then submit the portfolio here in red river college and apply for the second year which you get automatically selected and apply for the visa and come here for the second year.
The course is good as it has 3 options for major with some common subjects so students can choose their own field of what they like and also it has an internship at the end of the course which helps for your industry experience and show your skill set.
The reputation of the school was really good and my family also went there. There were no other management development courses in the area that piqued my interest. This college was also the closest one to me.
It could have been a bit better and for focused less on in class learning and my re on the job. When I left The class I felt like I needed more actual job experience. I think only 20 percent was on the job experience with employers.
Only one near me with the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Diploma Program.
I love it so much. We get to work on real aircraft's when practicing repairs. The courses help you gain real understanding and experience within the industry. They go in-depth to give you more then the base knowledge you will need to know.
Creative Communications at Red River College offered the only Journalism program in my area. While it doesn't offer a full journalism degree and I will still need to attend school elsewhere, it was the most relevant way I could get an undergraduate degree.
It is very educational and will help aspiring communication workers with their future jobs. Even if graduates do not get a communications job, the grammar and writing skills we learn will always be useful.
