The college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and it is accredited with AICTE, NAAC and NBA.
The college currently offers B.E. and B.Tech courses under 7 and 3 specialization respectively. Candidates from Tamil Nadu state who have completed their 10+2 level from another state must produce a certificate of Nativity in order to seek admission under community quota.
For B.E./B.Tech, candidates must pass 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in the science stream and admission the course is based on the TNEA exam scores.
Candidates from Backward Classes who have secured a minimum of 45% marks, MBC & DNC candidates with 40% marks and SC/ ST/ SCA candidates with 40% marks are eligible.
Admission to M.E. is done on the basis of GATE/ TANCET scores. For M.E., a candidate must have passed B.E. /B.Tech. degree in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks.
Engineering Diploma holders of a minimum three-year duration with minimum 50% marks are eligible to seek admission to 2nd year of the B.E. program under the Lateral Entry scheme.
