CIT Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

CIT mainly renowned for its placements. From the first semester itself, the placement upskilling will be started that will be useful for focusing on placements from the start. The highest, lowest and the average package here is 60 LPA, 4 LPA, and 6 LPA respectively. The average percentage of students placed here is 95.

The placement training provided by the college is really good. It prepares students to face the industry confidently by covering all the essential technologies and skills required to crack interviews. The placements are very good in CIT. The placements usually starts in third year itself , so students get more exposure and internships. The training for these are very good , it includes aptitude,technical skill and also training for soft skills.

I am Aishwarya S, final year student from the department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Being a student of Chennai Institute of Technology is an enriching experience and I have been receiving all kinds of support from the faculty and trainers at the placement cell. As part of the college placement process, I got selected in an MNC and am currently working on my internship at Bangalore. Through my journey with CIT, I was able to achieve this milestone with the support and guidance from the college placement cell, my department faculty and HOD. Various training sessions on aptitude, technical and soft skills helped me achieve this much sought-after internship. The support received during the placement preparations is worth mentioning. The college offered me a lot of opportunity to sharpen my technical and professional abilities apart from academics. I did three offline internships, during the semester breaks, at ZOHO, Axcord Global and Intellect Design Arena which helped define my career path. The Centers of Excellence at CIT have proved to be a great platform for providing hands-on learning. The annual cultural fest-Takshashila and technical Symposiums gave me a greater exposure. Working in these events helped me improve my leadership and communication skills. I'm thankful to be a part of CIT - particularly for all opportunities that it has given me in my journey.

Placements at CIT are excellent compared to other similar colleges. This is because regular training that focuses on improving students' skillsets and makes them well prepared for future Campus Drives.

Along with providing quality education, CIT offers comprehensive palcement training programs that help students become industry ready. The training includes aptitude classes,previous year placements questions, GD , mock interviews and technical interview preparations and softskills developement. The placement opportunities at cit chennai are one of the major strenghts of te college. Students generally become eligible for campus placementsfor the 6t semester onwards, while internship opportunities are available even earlier.

From start of the 3rd year the students are prepared for placements. We train in general aptitude and soft skills. Our college have tie up with some of the industries. So most of the students gets offer in software side when I joined but currently I see some increase in students getting placed in core companies. I plan to continue my job and I got internship opportunity from MNC company at 3rd year. And I continued here and got offer. Only at exam times I need to go to my college. That's a plus point for me.

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced your decision to choose the course is experience well and the curriculum prepare for real world applications or further pursuits the area for improvement

The students have been eligible for placements from 6th semester itself. There is a placement training is available ,students have get trained by the professionals to do well in the interviews. For mechanical engineering there are about more than 40 companies visited in our colleges I got selected 1 company for a package of 4 lpa highest package for mechanical engineering stand lpa the average package is 4 lpa. They have a 100% of students placed in companies

In the daily motive any one person should present there experience on the bases of the attendance order so in many type of idea we can experience in the speech,the only motive by this activity is too improve there language skills..
