DPCOE Admission Dates 2026

DPCOE admissions for the 2026-27 session are anchored by MHT CET and MAH MBA CET, both conducted by the Maharashtra State CET Cell. CAP rounds for BE are managed by DTE Maharashtra, while MBA CAP runs in parallel through a separate schedule.

DPCOE Courses and Fees

DPCOE offers three programme levels: B.E. (4 years), B.E. Lateral Entry (3 years), and MBA (2 years). The fee structure is approved by the Maharashtra Fee Regulating Authority (FRA) and is uniform across all B.E. branches.

OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates pay INR 2,63,456 for the B.E. programme, as the tuition component is reduced by 50% while other charges remain unchanged. Hostel charges are billed separately at up to INR 95,000 per year for both boys and girls.

DPCOE Admission Process

DPCOE fills 80% of seats through the DTE Maharashtra Centralised Admission Process (CAP) and 20% through its Institute Level (Management) quota. The DTE institute code is EN6307.

B.E. Admission

Eligibility for B.E. requires passing 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Maharashtra-domicile candidates from reserved categories need 45%. A valid MHT CET or JEE Main score is mandatory.

• Stage 1: Appear in MHT CET (PCM group) or JEE Main.
• Stage 2: Register on the DTE Maharashtra CAP portal using the CET score.
• Stage 3: Fill college and branch preferences (choice filling) on the portal.
• Stage 4: Provisional allotment through CAP rounds based on merit and category.
• Stage 5: Report to DPCOE with original documents within the deadline to confirm admission.

MHT CET closing percentile for the Computer Engineering branch at DPCOE has typically ranged from 65 to 75 percentile for the General category in recent CAP rounds. Automobile and Mechanical Engineering branches have had relatively lower closing percentiles.

B.E. Lateral Entry Admission

Diploma holders in Engineering or Technology with at least 45% aggregate marks may apply for direct second-year B.E. entry via DTE Maharashtra DSE CAP. The MHT CET DSE score is required for CAP merit ranking.

MBA Admission

MBA eligibility requires graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks. MAH MBA CET is the sole entrance exam for DTE Maharashtra CAP. DPCOE offers MBA in Marketing, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Business Analytics, and Operations and Supply Chain Management. Total intake is 45 seats. The MAH MBA CET score is also required for Institute Level quota MBA seats.

DPCOE Placements

The DPCOE Training and Placement cell coordinates on-campus recruitment drives across IT services, core engineering, BFSI, and e-commerce sectors. The highest offer for the 2023-24 batch stood at INR 13.5 LPA, while the average package was INR 3.6 LPA. A total of 92 students were placed in that cycle.

The NIRF 2024 data for DPCOE indicates a median UG salary of INR 3 LPA and a median PG salary of INR 4 LPA among placed graduates. The Automobile and Mechanical Engineering branches have a stronger pipeline into core manufacturing recruiters based in the Pune and Chakan industrial corridor.
