Placement Experience:

Colleges do not provide internships. You have to apply on your own . Placement starts generally from the 3rd year and about 450 companies visit. Our college has 90% placement mainly cse , ece and ise students are placed compared to other branches

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 onwards students can take a placement on campus as well as outside campus. The in campus placement of sir mvit is one of the best in bangalore with 85-90% success ratio with the campus placement only. Companies such as TCS, L&T, INFOSYS, WIPRO, MICROFOCUS, TARGET, etc provide opportunities to the students to get placed. The highest package of our college is 31 lakhs by MEDIA.NET and avg package goes around 5-7 lakhs p.a. 80-90% get placed in campus placement itself and many go to abroad for higher studies. My plan after the degree is to go for higher studies in abroad.

Placement Experience:

You will be eligible for placement in your 4th year (7th semester). Most of the companies which came offered 3.5-4.5 lpa ctc. Maximum of 10-12 companies came in college offering 5+ ctc and they came only for cse/ise branch. The placement has highly deteriorated mainly due to covid and placement management. We were not even given classes facing the interviews. We all have to learn that by ourself referring to youtube. Year by year, the placement is getting worse in this college. i have get placed through off campus. Around 70-80% of students get placed in my batch with the highest in cse/ise branch and the lowest in me/civil and out of this 70-80% around 20-30% got their placement through off campus.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture, IBM, TCS, Wipro are the prime recruiters of our college. Every year they offer over 200 placements. The highest package is 23 lacs per annum With the average being 5.5 lac per annum Over 90% of students get placed every year. My plans after getting the degree are to be placed.

Remarks:

The college was among the top 10 colleges in Karnataka with a placement facility of 100%. Coming to the infrastructure, it looked really promising. Faculty were really commendable. Sports and extra-curricular activities are encouraged. The hostels were excellent and provided a commendable space. The bad aspects of our college is ignorance of recruitment for Civil and Mechanical engineering students. Continuous change in faculty and no proper equipments. Practical perspective and education is not paid much importance.

Remarks:

College has a really good placement incharge. That's the only reason MVIT is famous. 100% placements. As long as you don't have any backlogs. Lecturers are decent. They provide a lot of assistance to whoever wants it. Lab equipments are kinda old. But everything depends on how the student does things. Admission process isn't tough as I got in through CET. Everything is done through KCET people like documents verification, etc. I picked MVIT over BMSIT because MVIT has a lot more sports exposure than BMSIT. And I picked it over nitte because it wasn't under VTU. Lesson learnt :Don't pick any college under VTU. Exam corrections are horrible and I've had multiple instances of getting 15+ marks more after re-evaluation(that's a big deal). Syllabus is also outdated with very less versatility in subject selection(atleast in ECE). I've had to go through a separate training after getting placed. Which is a waste of time for both the college and the company.

Remarks:

Sir MVIT is a very reputated college in banglore and many students sought to get admission in it. The admission is based on rank obtained in entrance exam namely Comedk and KCET, there are various seats available for management quota students. I considered various blogs like college duniya, Career 360 etc to check the college ranking and filled this college in for the councelling rounds.

Remarks:

In 2016, it was in multiple lists of top 5 colleges for engineering in Bangalore. It had a consistently good record for placements. A couple of my seniors from school had enrolled there the previous year and gave good feedback. It was the best college available for me with my rank in COMED-K. It was also close enough for me to travel everyday as I didn't want to live in a hostel.
