* Cultural fests, Technical and Non technical symposiums are conducted time to time. * The institution has a well maintained library with over 15000+ books in the different fields including various research books and various international journals. * Every classroom is well maintained with smart class and CCTV facilities. * Various sports clubs are established for the welfare of the students with proper and we'll maintained Courts for every sport. Students are trained for National Level sports events with extraordinary sports equipments. Innovation centers and skill development centers are provided for extracurricular activities.
Students can avail library pass and can access any books with that. Playgrounds and courtyards are well and good in this college. Students used to participate in various hackathons and sports, inside and outside the college. This college has so many clubs and social groups. They have NCC, NSS, YRC, code club, Tamil mandram, mobile application development, agriculture, adventure etc. Won National level hackathons conducted by Indian government. Coding classes and other courses were also been taught to the students(not free of cost). Recently they have started Sairam Radio. NUTPAM 2.O, Hack in Hub, Project Expo etc are the annual and technical fests of this college conducted during September and December.
For each student, they provide a cot, table, chair and a rack(shelf). Power connection, fan and a mosquito net will be there for covering the windows. I will give 9 ratings for food and its quality. And a weekly menu will be maintained. The registration process will be held similarly to the admission process and initially room will be allocated by the wardens only. After that, we can change our rooms. Tambaram is the nearest place for outer hostels. But I prefer in campus hostel in case of safety and food but the only drawback is girl students are permitted to go out only with local guardians(max 3). We can't go outside without them. These are not for boys. For boys, all boy hostellers can go out at weekends within a time schedule (no need of a guardian).
In my college, cultural will be conducted in the mid of February. Also, women's will be celebrated for girls and it will be really awesome. We can thoroughly enjoy the whole day. The library is really good in structure and count of books and types of books. All kind of journals will be there and we can study without doing any damage to it. They mostly don't concentrate on sports. They will give some training only before some days to sports day. But those who are really interested in sports and related things can get permission from respective faculty or HOD for attending that. There are more clubs functioning on our campus and some are handled by student seniors also. And most of the clubs have their own Instagram and Facebook pages.
If you are a hosteller, then I must say you have to live the life of 60's kid. Of course, food is great. Daily non-veg except for thursdays. Warden will never give you OD. Buses will be provided for special holidays to go to your hometown bus stop.
Sairam Institution is well known college. It has been running for 25 years. They have air-conditioned Libraries, 7-10 labs of all engineering subjects and yes they have large fields for sports but they don't allow us to play and they never gave opportunity to others.
Despite being a relatively new institution since the management have multiple colleges, the facilities in our college were good. Library was of medium size but quite adequate for a college of our size. Sports involvement is based completely on own interest and the regular system of exams means only those with lot of interest would participate. The labs in our department had proper equipment and apparatus.
I haven't opted for hostel as my house is somewhat near the college. The total hostel fee is around 80k. The rooms were neat and good. Food is also better. There were many restrictions like phones were only granted during weekends, in other times the use of phones is punishable and it must be given to the warden.
The gender is quite equal and people from various districts of Tamilnadu have been studying and some were from north too. There are strict rules like there should be no interaction between boys and girls and if not, it is punishable. The labs are sufficient for the students and equipment are in good condition. Extracurricular activities like sports are emphasized. There were robotics lab and they conduct workshop regularly. There were no tolerance regarding ethnicity, race or religion.
In our college there is gender equality. In all the competition such as hackathon, events, etc. Sports, labs and extracurricular activities are done different and various manner. There also many clubs are providing through we can help other. NSS, NCC,yearC,RRC, etc. In our college for each faculty birthday we were planting plants. Helping the farmers by providing clothes, books and free medical treatments, etc.
Gender ratio will be equal. Rules and regulations of my college also liberal. They will treat everyone equal. Infrastructure like labs, Sports complex, Gym facilities are available in my college. They respect each every religious. Different students from different states will study securely.
A home away from home provided for both boys and girls separately accommodating student strength of 293 boys and 208 girls in an area of 20529 Sq. m. The architecturally designed buildings and the surroundings offer a cool, green, pleasant and eco-friendly atmosphere which stimulates positive learning. It provides a lively environment which helps in healthy interaction among the students
Sports is one of the key thing and the management encourages students in sports. They also provide special busses after the college hours to sports persons. Gender ratio depends solely on the department. For example, Department of Information and Technology has higher girls than boys whereas it is vice versa in Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Sri Sairam Institute Of Technology has good infrastructure and placement records. Friendly and well qualified staffs. Staffs methodology of teaching was like spoon feeding. College management encourages students to participate in various hackathons, sports etc and used to award winning participants with cash price directly from College CEO. Recently my college was turned autonomous. Mobile phones are allowed inside the campus and not to be used during class hours. Most of them used to get placed during placement times. For a good placement record and infrastructure, you can join this college. Actually, I got info about my college through collegedunia and another website. Once upon a time, myby Shantha Kumar
To be frank, I didn't select this college. Agaram foundation gave me admission to this college only based on my cut off. Seriously I recommend you to join this college. Because the faculties and other TAP cell members put almost their maximum efforts to groom themselves. I can able to see the difference between colleges in my hometown and my college. The faculty members help us in all aspects of what we need. The only thing we want to do is, just cope up with them and developing our skills in the area of our interests. They also helped us in that by conducting many webinars with industrial experts and seniors of our college to understand the things what exactly the industry expect from us. Aby Student
