Unfortunately, there is a limited placement system in the college. Especially if you are a humanities student.
My course is BSC PS chemistry so my department has not such placements but ba economics Hons and commerce related courses have big placements and you can also find internships here. Disha, the Placement Cell of Hindu College has been on the fore in bringing about exciting job opportunities for all courses. The cell organizes seminars and workshops on career-related matters.
I have no idea about the placement because it's first year this year .But there is a society for placement which has vast contacts regarding placements
I haven't any idea about the internship because it's my first year this year but seminars are going on every other month .
Good placement scenario and many companies visits in the college campus for giving students opportunity for taking placement in their companies. They take a survey and select some students
Yes Good experience in this college .this college provide internship to students so they perform is good and they try hard work for becoming a successful person
Not well.there is no well formed placement cell in the college and the placements are limited to economics and commerce sections. There are almost no job opportunity in bachelor's and very few in master courses. There is a need for a lot of work in placement cells and job opportunity section jn the college but there is still hope. No one is perfect after all.
No internship but projects are there which are done free of cost. Many researcher scholars give hands on experience of research in their fields to interested students.
Disha, the Placement Cell of Hindu College has been on the fore in bringing about exciting job opportunities for all courses. The cell organizes seminars and workshops on career related matters. The placement and job opportunities are also very nice. Disha, the placement society , takes care of the placement opportunities for the students. Though most of the students want to study further, still more than 50% of the are placed from our department through both on campus and off campus selections.
Not the college in particular, but internships are provided. There are various socities in our college for various works and one of them is for providing internships. Abhyas is the society that provides internships to the college students. It ran the Hindu Youth Summit , in which a lot of big companies came and provided internships. The summit was a hit. Conferro Heritae Private Limited , Barometer , Abhivyakti , Brainpan Innovations , Financial Doctor , Vyapt , Wedding Affair , Mash Project ,The Delhi Food Walks and many many more such companies became a part. Stipend was mostly work progress based. Upto Rs. 8000 were provided by some companies.
There were few companies but not much for science and all these courses as in our college the courses are more of kind of graduation and not professional course. So I dont have idea what were the package for other courses. I hope my answer satisfy the requirement.
No there is no internship for my course botany. And as such not many companies come in for internship.
It's fine as far as i know. Or told by seniors. But still i don't know much about this but yeah packages provided are gud and rest i will come to know from time to time most of the people get an average package of 3.5
Yeah it do provide but i don't know much about it. N yeah many reputed companies do come..
Placements and job opportunities are highly selective. Companies such as Google, Wipro, Jaypee Capital came to our campus. Mosly, students from Commerce background were selected. The package offered to freshers was very high as compared to other colleges in the campus.
No, One must search for such opportunities on one's own. There would be many pamphlets and advertisements. One must be on lookout for such opportunities pro-actively.
Thanks for your valuable feedback. Our team will look into it.
