The fee is just Rs 30000-Rs 40000 per year for morning students. There are scholarship options available. As the fee is very nominal the loans are not required.
The course was divided into 6 semesters with each semester focused on the particular subject. We had complete knowledge of the finance like accounts, tax etc. The end semester comprised of a specialization so each subject has its own importance. Plus we had a social responsibility which allowed people to come forward for social goals which rewarded students who are active.
The fees structure is different for different departments. The fees is also different for different country citizen. Home students including SAARC Countries (Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan) will pay the usual fees. Students from Asian countries other than SAARC, will have pay 2 times of the usual fees.
Every subject or department has formed its own Board of Studies as per UGC guidelines. Each Board of Studies is entrusted with the task of formulating / revising the syllabus and initiating innovative teaching learning methodologies.
The fee structure is feasible. It is not much expensive compared to some other colleges in the city and in comparison to the facilities provided by the college. The fee is about Rs 5000 month for evening session while it is lesser for morning batch which is exclusively for boys.
The course structure is very good. They have semester systems which is very good for a degree college. The students can get help of the professors whenever they want. Also the course is apt for a commerce student and gives him insight into academic study, research as well as presenting seminars.
Fees is feasible, I used to pay INR 500 monthly for college and 1200 for Hostel fees. In recent times they have increased this many folds. Still one of the most affordable good colleges in country with best education. If you for Computer science or any other lab/facilities, extra charges will be accordingly applied. Its more on the choice of subjects based than fixed structure.
Course was great. It was very vast and had lot of depth. We touched upon every aspect of Physics. It gave me good insight on every area and hence prepared me to pursue specialisation in post graduation. The only issue in my time there was that we had to prepare with university exams as one of the focus areas, although learning was fun, this made us some times read only to get good score in exam.
The fees structure is also decent.B.com has two batches, morning and evening the morning is a government aided program and so the students get concession. The total cost of academics for three would cost around 60000 for a morning student and for evening, which is not an aided program, it would cost approximately one lac for three years and for a college of such repute, the amount is not much. Also it being a private institution and government makes it all the more worthy.
The course structure is very good and has everything required for a good course. B.com is a three year course and in first two years we have to study every subjects. In third year we are given a choice among marketing, finance and e-commerce.First two year curriculum include subjects like accounts, maths, statistics, management, costing and many others. So you get a knack of every field. Its in third year you move into specializing in a particular field and select according to your interest.
The fee structure is differnt for differnt cources. My department which is Bcom morning had very subsidised fees as it was sponsored by the the state government. Initial adimission fees was somewhere around 11000 including a security deposit of 5000 and then 1200 per month.
There was very less or no focus on research per se. It was too focused on theoretical knowledge. But having said thay this course would also play a very important role in forming the foundation of the subject matter. Students usually prefer opting for higher education after the course rather than taking a job right after.
The fee structure is divided into admission fee along with a semester fee for each semester. There's also an additional fee at the start of each college year. The fee is feasible with no course charging more than 50,000 INR in totality for a course whether its a diploma or a bachelor's degree. The security deposit is returned after the successful completion of the course.
The course curriculum covers the best of British and American literature, starting with the history of English literature and how the English language we know today came about. There's also great emphasis in the course on the technicalities of the English language; and there are term papers to test the skills of students and their comprehension of the subject matter. The electives I had were History and Sociology, with each of them covering the basics of these subjects very efficiently without being school bookish.
The students of the department of English pay an average of about Rs 25,000 per annum, excluding the condonation fees, arrear fees, review fees, fines etc. The fees may be more for students who have chosen journalism and/film studies as ancillary subject(s).
The curriculum concentrates on a broad overview of English literature through the ages along with specific modules devoted to poetry appreciation, history of English literature, classical and biblical literature, Elizabethan sonnets, Shakespearean sonnets, Romantic poetry etc.
The fee will never be a problem for anybody. I was studying at a mere Rs 6000 a year
The course curriculum is extensive and detailed, the curriculum is up to date with the latest in accounting and business laws.
The fee structure is reasonable for the student in B.Com Hons. morning batch. It cost about Rs. 15000 a year. The fees for the other courses are higher, even the B.Com Evening batch is twice the fees. However, it is much cheaper than other private colleges in the city.
The course is decently set. As the college is autonomous it does not follow Calcutta University. There are a wide array of subjects However, there is very limited scope for research or doing anything new. You are confined to the knowledge contained in the books.
