Once admitted to PGIMER, the MD/MS course fee for the full 3 years is approximately ₹7,110 — heavily subsidized by the Central Government. MD/MS residents also receive a basic pay stipend of ₹56,100 per month, a ₹2,000 annual book allowance, and a ₹5,000 thesis allowance during their residency.

The section-lock rule is one of the most critical features of the INI-CET. You get exactly 45 minutes per section. When time runs out for a section, the system moves you automatically to the next section and you cannot revisit or change earlier answers. The PGIMER 2027 admit card is issued online a few days before the exam. You cannot appear for any PGIMER 2027 exam without a valid printed admit card — this rule applies to all programs without exception.

For the January 2027 session, the INI-CET admit card is expected around October 26, 2026. Download it from aiimsexams.ac.in using your registered login. In 2025, the November session admit card was released on November 1 — 8 days before the exam — and the same timeline is expected for 2026.
For the July 2027 session, the INI-CET admit card is expected in May 2027, after the registration window closes in March–April 2027.

PGIMER 2027 cutoff refers to the closing All-India Rank at which the last seat in a specific MD/MS course at PGIMER Chandigarh gets filled during INI-CET counselling. The cutoff is not set in advance — it is determined at the end of each counselling round based on the number of qualified candidates, available seats, paper difficulty, and candidate preferences. MD General Medicine at PGIMER Chandigarh is one of the most competitive PG medical seats in India.
