The National Testing Agency was released DUET 2019 Result on the official website i.e. Candidates who had appeared for the exam held from July 3 - July 8 can check their result using the form number and date of birth.

It is to be noted that two separate links have been released on the official website in which one link contains the result in PDF format along with the correct answer key and another link is to check the individual result.

Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) is an online entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the candidates seeking admission in UG, PG, M.Phil., and Ph.D. courses offered by Delhi University.

The exam was conducted in three sessions from July 3 to 8, 2019 across various test centers in India.

DUET 2019 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of DUET 2019 exam was different for the different types of course for which the students have opted. Candidates must have a clear idea about the exam pattern before appearing in the final test. Below given are the highlights of DUET 2019 exam pattern.

  • DUET 2019 was conducted in Computer Based mode which comprised of Multiple Choice Questions.
  • The total duration of the exam was 2 hours.
  • DUET 2019 was of total 400 marks.
  • A total of 100 questions were asked and for each correct answer, 4 marks were allotted.
  • There was a negative marking of -1 for each incorrect question.

DUET 2019 Eligibility

DUET 2019 Eligibility Criteria was not similar for different courses. To appear in the entrance exam candidates have to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for a few UG and PG courses are tabulated below.

Eligibility for UG Courses

B.TechPassed 10+2 with 60% aggregate and Mathematics as a compulsory subject
BA Hons Humanities and Social SciencesPassed 10+2 with 60% aggregate
BA Hons Multimedia and Mass CommunicationPassed 10+2 with 75% aggregate and secured 85% marks in English

Eligibility for PG Courses

Masters of Law3/5-year LLB with 50% for general, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST

Masters in CommercePassed Bachelors in Commerce with 50% (general)/ 45% (OBC)/ 40% (SC/ST) aggregate

DUET 2019 Application Form

DUET 2019 Application process for both UG and PG courses concluded on June 22, 2019. DUET application process was completely online. The application forms were available on the official website. The steps to fill the application form was as follows:

Step 1 – Registration

Candidates have to register themselves by entering their email id, mobile number, and password after which a login id will be generated.

Step 2 – Application Form Filling

Once the login ID is created, candidates have to fill the online application form by providing personal and academic details. Candidates have to select the course for which they want to take the test while filling the application form.

Step 3 – Document Upload

Candidates have to upload scanned images of the documents mentioned below:

  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Photo ID Proof (Aadhar Card/Driving License/ PAN Card/Voter's Identity Card/Passport/College Identity Card)
  • Class X Certificate
  • Class XII Certificate
  • Caste Certificate
  • Minority Certificate
  • PwD Certificate
  • CW Certificate

Step 4 – DUET Application Fee Payment

Candidates can submit the application fee by clicking on- “Click to Make Payment”. The application fee can be paid using a Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking. The nonrefundable fee application fee for different categories are tabulated below

SC/ST/PwD/EWSRs. 300/-

Step 5 – Download Application Form

Once all the steps mentioned above are completed, save and submit the application form and download the same for future correspondence.

DUET 2019 Admit Card

DUET Admit Card was released by NTA on June 30, 2019. Successfully registered candidates were able to download the admit card from the official website i.e. and

  2. Click on the link stating - “DUET 2019 - Admit Card Link’.
  3. Enter your Application Form Number and Date of Birth.
  4. Click on - Login.
  5. DUET Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Download and print the admit card for future reference.

DUET Admit card is an important document to be carried to the exam center. Candidates are advised to check the details mentioned on the admit card thoroughly. In case of any discrepancy, candidates must contact the DU Helpline Number.

DUET 2019 Answer Keys

The correct answer key for DUET 2019 exam has been published on July 15, 2019 along with the result on the official website. The provisional answer keys for both UG and PG exam was released on the official website of NTA. Along with the answer keys, the exam authority had also released the objection tracker, response sheet, and master question paper. Candidates can check and download the answer keys by entering their application form no. and date of birth.

Note- The objection tracker link was sent to the candidates on their registered email id.

Steps to check DUET 2019 Answer Keys

  • Visit the official website of DUET 2019
  • Click on the link stating- “Objection Tracker/Challenge of Answer Keys-DUET 2019”.
  • Enter the Form Number and Date of Birth.
  • Three links will appear, click on the link- “View Interim Answer Keys (Master QP PDF)”
  • DUET Question Paper along with the correct answer id will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download the answer keys for future reference.

The exam authority had provided the facility to raise an objection (if any) against the provided answer keys. Procedure to Challenge DUET 2019 Answer Keys

  • Login to the Objection Tracker link using the required credentials
  • Download DUET response sheet
  • In case the candidate’s need to raise the objection, click on the objection form.
  • Submit the Objection form.
  • While submitting the objection, Question ID and Objection ID needs to be referred.

DUET 2019 Mock Test

Mock Tests are the best source to prepare for Delhi University Entrance Test. Considering this fact, NTA had released an activated link of mock tests for the candidates who were appearing in DUET 2019. The mock tests were available on the official website of NTA. DUET aspirants could access the link by entering their roll number, password, and pin. 

How to take DUET Mock Tests?

Candidates can attempt DUET Mock tests by following the steps given below. 

  • Go to the official website of NTA i.e. 
  • Click on the Mock Test Link stating – “DUET MOCK TEST”.
  • Candidates will be redirected to another page, click on the link – “Click here to get login credentials”. 
  • A system generated roll number, password and pin will appear.

  • Another Page will appear, Enter the system generated Roll Number, Password and Pin. 


  • Another window will open, click on “Resume Exam” to take the test.

DUET 2019 Result

The exam authority of DUET 2019 had released the result of UG and PG entrance test on July 15 at the admission portal of Delhi University and on the official website of NTA. Candidates can check their result by logging in using the required credentials at the official website of DU or NTA.   3. Enter the Application Form Number and Date of Birth.
  4. Click on Login.

  6. Candidates can download the result for future reference. 

The scores obtained by the candidates will be considered while preparing DUET Merit List. There are certain other factors which are considered while preparing the merit list. They are-

  • Difficulty level of the exam
  • Maximum marks obtained in the exam
  • Average score obtained by candidates

DUET 2019 Counselling

DUET Counselling will be started in online mode from July 21, 2019. Candidates who have qualiied DUET 2019 will be eligible to participate in the counselling procedure. Based on the candidate’s score in the exam, a merit list is prepared based on which the candidates will be shortlisted for counselling. 

DUET Counselling is done in 5 steps namely –

DUET 2019 Counselling Schedule
