    Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) is an online entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the candidates seeking admission in UG, PG, M.Phil., and PhD courses offered by Delhi University. NTA has released DUET 2020 Exam date on the official website i.e. nta.ac.in. 

    Latest: NTA released a notice mentioning, due to COVID - 19 Epidemics the University of Delhi has postponed DUET registration which was to be held on dated 2nd April.
    • DUET 2020 Registration which was scheduled to begin from April 2, 2020 has been postponed.
    • Application Portal likely to get active on the official website soon.
    • The exam was tentatively scheduled to be conducted from June 2 – June 9, 2020.
    • The Result was lined to be declared on June 25, 2020. 
    • Seeing the registration process getting postponed, all the following dates are likely to be revised.

    DUET 2020 Exam Pattern

    The exam pattern of DUET 2020 exam will be different for the different types of course for which the students have opted. Candidates must have a clear idea about the exam pattern before appearing in the final test. Below given are the highlights of DUET 2020 exam pattern.

    • DUET 2020 will be conducted in Computer Based mode which comprised of Multiple Choice Questions.
    • The total duration of the exam will be of 2 hours.
    • DUET 2020 will be of total 400 marks.
    • A total of 100 questions will be asked and for each correct answer, 4 marks will be allotted.
    • There will be negative marking of -1 for each incorrect question.

    DUET 2020 Eligibility

    DUET 2020 Eligibility Criteria varies from courses to courses. To appear in the entrance exam candidates have to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for a few UG and PG courses is tabulated below.

    DUET 2020 Application Form

    DUET 2020 Application process for both UG and PG courses will conclude on April 2 – 30, 2020(Postponed). DUET application process will be completely online. The application forms will be available on the official website. The steps to fill the application form are as follows:

    Step 1 – Registration

    Candidates have to register themselves by entering their email id, mobile number, and password after which a login id will be generated.

    Step 2 – Application Form Filling

    Once the login ID is created, candidates have to fill the online application form by providing personal and academic details. Candidates have to select the course for which they want to take the test while filling the application form.

    Step 3 – Document Upload

    Candidates have to upload scanned images of the documents mentioned below:

    • Photograph
    • Signature
    • Photo ID Proof (Aadhar Card/Driving License/ PAN Card/Voter's Identity Card/Passport/College Identity Card)
    • Class X Certificate
    • Class XII Certificate
    • Caste Certificate
    • Minority Certificate
    • PwD Certificate
    • CW Certificate

    Step 4 – DUET Application Fee Payment

    Candidates can submit the application fee by clicking on – “Click to Make Payment”. The application fee can be paid using a Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking. The nonrefundable application fees for different categories are tabulated below

    Step 5 – Download Application Form

    Once all the steps mentioned above are completed, save and submit the application form and download the same for future correspondence.


    DUET 2020 Admit Card

    DUET Admit Card will be released by NTA on April 30, 2020. Successfully registered candidates will be able to download their admit card from the official website i.e. du.ac.in and nta.ac.in.

    It is to be noted that the admit card will be released in the online mode and no admit card was sent via post. Below given are the steps to download the DUET Admit Card.

    1. Visit the official website i.e. du.ac.in.
    2. Click on the link stating - “DUET 2020 - Admit Card Link’.
    3. Enter your Application Form Number and Date of Birth.
    4. Click on - Login.
    5. DUET Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
    6. Download and print the admit card for future reference.

    DUET Admit card is an important document to be carried to the exam center. Candidates are advised to check the details mentioned on the admit card thoroughly. In case of any discrepancy, candidates must contact the DU Helpline Number.


    DUET 2020 Answer Keys

    The correct answer key for DUET 2020 exam will be published on June 25, 2020 along with the result on the official website. The provisional answer keys for both UG and PG exam will be released on the official website of NTA. Along with the answer keys, the exam authority had also released the objection tracker, response sheet, and master question paper. Candidates can check and download the answer keys by entering their application form no. and date of birth.

    Note- The objection tracker link will be sent to the candidates on their registered email id.

    Steps to check DUET 2020 Answer Keys

    • Visit the official website of DUET 2020
    • Click on the link stating- “Objection Tracker/Challenge of Answer Keys-DUET 2020”.
    • Enter the Form Number and Date of Birth.
    • Three links will appear, click on the link- “View Interim Answer Keys (Master QP PDF)”
    • DUET Question Paper along with the correct answer id will be displayed on the screen.
    • Download the answer keys for future reference. 

    The exam authority will provide the facility to raise an objection (if any) against the provided answer keys. As per the official notification, the objection tracker will be live for 48 hours after the release of provisional answer keys.

    Procedure to Challenge DUET 2020 Answer Keys

    • Login to the Objection Tracker link using the required credentials
    • Download DUET response sheet
    • In case the candidate’s need to raise the objection, click on the objection form.
    • Submit the Objection form.
    • While submitting the objection, Question ID and Objection ID needs to be referred.

    Documents to Carry at DUET Exam Center

    There are certain documents mandatory to carry at the DUET exam center on the exam day. Below given is the list of the required documents. 

    • Printed Admit Card
    • One Passport-sized Photograph
    • Anyone Photo ID Proof (PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID card/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (with photograph)/ Ration Card (with photograph)/ CGHS Card (with photograph))

    DUET 2020 Mock Test

    Mock Tests are the best source to prepare for Delhi University Entrance Test. Considering this fact, NTA will release an activated link of mock tests for the candidates who will be appearing in DUET 2020. The mock tests will be available on the official website of NTA. DUET aspirants can access the link by entering their roll number, password, and pin. 

    How to take DUET Mock Tests?

    Candidates can attempt DUET Mock tests by following the steps given below. 

    • Go to the official website of NTA i.e. nta.ac.in/DuetExam. 
    • Click on the Mock Test Link stating – “DUET MOCK TEST”.
    • Candidates will be redirected to another page, click on the link – “Click here to get login credentials”. 
    • A system generated roll number, password and pin will appear.

    • Another Page will appear, Enter the system generated Roll Number, Password and Pin.

    • Another window will open, click on “Resume Exam” to take the test.

    DUET 2020 Result

    The exam authority of DUET 2020 will release the result of UG and PG entrance test on June 25, 2020 at the admission portal of Delhi University and on the official website of NTA. Candidates will be able to check their result by logging in using the required credentials at the official website of DU or NTA. The result will also be released in PDF format along with the correct answer keys.

    Below given are the steps to check the individual DUET 2020 Result. 

    1. Visit the official website – nta.ac.in/DuetExam or du.ac.in.
    2. Click on the link stating – “Candidate Login for Viewing Individual Result”.
    3. Enter the Application Form Number and Date of Birth.
    4. Click on Login.
    5. DUET result will be displayed on the screen.
    6. Candidates can download the result for future reference. 

    The scores obtained by the candidates will be considered while preparing DUET Merit List. There are certain other factors which are considered while preparing the merit list. They are – 

    • Number of test takers
    • Difficulty level of the exam
    • Maximum marks obtained in the exam
    • Average score obtained by candidates

    DUET 2020 Counselling

    DUET Counselling will be started in online mode from July 1, 2020. Candidates who have qualiied DUET 2020 will be eligible to participate in the counselling procedure. Based on the candidate’s score in the exam, a merit list is prepared based on which the candidates will be shortlisted for counselling. 

    DUET Counselling is done in 5 steps namely –

    5. Re-Allotment

    DUET 2020 Counselling Schedule

    DUET Counselling Process will start from July 1, 2020 for the candidates who have qualified the exam. Seats will be allotted to the candidate according to the marks obtained.

        Hi Khushi, all affiliated colleges do not provide admission to this course on basis of entrance score, some colleges provide admission on merit basis too. Thus, kindly mention the college in which you want to take admission so that we can provide you the admission procedure for the same.
