GRE 2020 EXAM DATES
The GRE is held in two modes- online and on paper. While the computer-based (online) GRE is held around the year, the paper-based GRE General is held twice a year in November and February. GRE Subject tests are held only on paper thrice in a year in the month of April, September, and October.
The online version of GRE General is held several times in a month at more than 1000 test centers across the world. The exam is available at all major cities in India. Candidates are required to select a test date based on the availability. To check seat availability and exam dates, students can visit ETS’s official GRE website.
One of the major factors to keep in mind while selecting a test date is the application deadline of the program that you want to apply to. ETS takes 10-15 days to send your GRE scores to the designated institutes. Hence, aligning your GRE test date with the application deadline of the desired program is crucial.
Candidates can take the GRE General test upto 5 times in a year with a minimum gap of 21 days between two tests.
