ICAR AIEEA PG Documents Required 2026

Candidates participating in ICAR AIEEA PG Counselling 2026 must upload the required documents online through the official counselling portal. The allotted university verifies the uploaded documents, and candidates must produce the original documents during physical reporting at the university.

ICAR AIEEA PG Counselling Instructions 2026

1. Candidates who score zero or negative marks in ICAR AIEEA PG 2026 are not eligible to participate in counselling.
2. The counselling schedule includes four regular rounds and a mop-up/final round.
3. Upgradation is permitted in the first three rounds only, subject to the counselling rules.
4. ICAR allots candidates to universities, while the respective university manages the allotment of constituent colleges and programmes.
5. Candidates must meet the educational and subject-specific eligibility criteria prescribed in the ICAR AIEEA PG 2026 Information Bulletin and by the admitting university.
6. A three-year bachelor's degree is not generally sufficient for all PG programmes; exceptions may apply to certain courses at IARI and NDRI. Candidates must verify the eligibility requirements for their chosen programme.
7. For M.V.Sc. admissions, candidates must satisfy the applicable veterinary qualification and internship requirements specified for the programme.
8. The allocation of ICAR quota seats is subject to the applicable state-wise allocation rules and counselling guidelines.

ICAR AIEEA PG Counselling Process 2026

1. Registration on the Counselling Portal

• Visit the official website: icarcounseling.com.
• Click on Applicant Login and access the portal using the application number and password.
• Complete the counselling registration and required undertaking.
• Pay the prescribed non-refundable counselling fee.
• Review the available seat matrix, reservation categories and university details before selecting preferences.

The official schedule states that registration, choice filling, counselling fee payment and document uploading began on September 29, 2026.

2. Choice Filling

• Only candidates declared eligible by ICAR can participate in counselling and choice filling.
• Select the preferred universities and courses in the order of preference.
• Review and save the choices before the deadline.
• For the mop-up/final round, eligible candidates must complete fresh choice filling within the notified window.

3. Document Verification and Seat Acceptance Fee

• The allotted university verifies the documents uploaded by the candidate.
• If any clarification or resubmission is requested, the candidate must respond within the prescribed deadline.
• After the documents are verified, candidates must pay the ₹10,000 seat acceptance fee, irrespective of category.
• Candidates may opt for upgradation after paying the seat acceptance fee, where permitted.
• The seat acceptance fee does not have to be paid again if a candidate is upgraded to another university in a subsequent round.

For Round 2, the seat acceptance fee payment deadline is October 10, 2026, at 4:00 PM, according to the official schedule.

4. Downloading the Provisional Admission Letter

• After document verification and payment of the seat acceptance fee, the candidate's provisional admission status is processed.
• The Provisional Admission Letter is issued after the required verification and reporting formalities are completed.
• Candidates should check their registered email and the counselling portal for updates.

5. Physical Reporting at the Allotted University

• Candidates must report to the allotted university according to its admission instructions.
• Carry the original certificates and documents uploaded during counselling for verification.
• Pay the remaining university admission fee after adjustment of the seat acceptance fee, as applicable under university rules.
