The official notification regarding IGNOU B.Ed 2020 has been released on August 21, 2019. As per the notification, this year the national level B.Ed entrance exam will be conducted by NTA. However, the authorities have postponed the online application process until further notification. It is expected that Application Forms will be released in May/June 2020.
The registration fee for IGNOU B.Ed 2020 Entrance Test is expected to be INR 600. Candidates are advised to ensure that they meet the Eligibility criteria. The authorities also provide the facility of Application Form Correction, but it is always recommended to apply carefully and correctly in one go. The application forms of in-service teachers should be accompanied by proof of previous employment in the stipulated format.

Below given are the certain eligibility criteria prescribed by IGNOU that candidates should fulfill before applying online.
There is no age limit to apply for IGNOU B.Ed 2020. That means candidate of any age can appear.
Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.

Candidates are required to submit the filled-in IGNOU B.Ed 2020 Application Form along with an attested copy of documents as specified in Entrance-cum-Admission Form. The application form has to be submitted in 5 simple steps:
Step 1- Apply for Online registration and note down the system generated application number. For this click on ‘Application Form Submission for B.Ed’ on the official website ntaignou.nic.in/cms/public/home.aspx
Step 2- Fill the online application form.
Step 3- Upload the scanned image of the candidate’s photograph and signature in the prescribed format. The specifications for the scanned image is in the table below:

Step 4- Pay the application fee through a suitable mode of payment.
Step 5- Print 3-4 copies of the confirmation page.
The payable fee for the online application is INR 600. The exam fee can be paid through any of the two methods given below.

It is to be noted that no request for refund of fee once remitted by the candidate will be entertained by NTA/IGNOU under any circumstances.
After the Application Process, NTA opens the IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Test Application Form Correction window. Through this facility, NTA gives a chance to candidates to rectify the incorrect information (if any) in the already submitted application form. The Application form correction window is open for a short duration only. The authorities also list that what all changes can be made, as each and every detail cannot be rectified, thats the reason candidates are advisded to be very careful at the time of form filling.
