NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST

ILICAT 2018 Application form

ILICAT 2018 Application form will be available tentatively in the month of May 2018. The form can be filled in online as well as offline mode. Online form can be obtained by visiting the official ILI website i.e. www.ili.ac.in and offline form can be obtained by visiting the institute.

  • Online applicants can pay the ILICAT 2018 Application fee via Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking. 
  • Offline applicants can pay the application fee via Demand Draft.
  • Application fee for online applications is INR 2500 and for offline applications it is INR 1500.
  • ILICAT 2018 Admit card will be dispatched to all the candidates who have applied successfully.

ILICAT (Indian Law Institute Common admission test) is conducted once a year in the month of June. Through this test, the institute selects the candidates into different Law programs which includes Ph. D. in Law, Online certificate courses, LL.M. (1 Year Degree course), LL.M. ( 2 Year Degree course), and Postgraduate diploma programs.

ILICAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Eligibility criteria to be eligible for ILICAT 2018 is For LLM One year/Two years program:

  • LLB degree with at least 50% marks from any University/Institution recognized by Bar Council of India.
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply, only if they obtain the basic marks in the examination.

For P.G. Diploma Programs:

  • Minimum qualification for admission in P.G. diploma programs is a graduate degree from a recognized university. 5% weightage for admission to all postgraduate diploma courses.
  • Those who have passed or appeared in the 4th year examination of LLB (5-year course) from a recognized university are also eligible for P.G. diploma programs. 5 seats are reserved for these candidates. The admission will be on the basis of a 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of the university examination.

For PH.D. in law:

Candidates having LLM degree from a recognized institute with minimum 55% marks are eligible to apply.


ILICAT 2018: How to apply?

The application process will be conducted in both online and offline mode. Candidates can choose any option depending on their convenience. Detailed application process is examined below:

Online Mode:

Here are some steps which a candidate must follow while filling up the ILICAT 2018 application form, kindly read carefully

Step 1: Open the official website of the Indian Law Institute i.e. www.ili.ac.in

Step 2: Register yourself by providing your email id and phone number.

Step 3: Click on the link which is sent to you on your email ID to verify your account.

Step 4: Once the ILI CAT Registration is complete, candidates will have access to username and password.
Step 5: With the help of the username and password, candidates can log in to their account and begin filling the ILI CAT Application Form 2018.

Step 6: Upload your photograph and signature as part of the application form. Ensure that the files to be uploaded are within the given size range and according to the specified format.

Step 7: Submit the application fee through debit card, credit card or net banking.

Step 8: Verify all the information that you have entered. If a detail needs to be changed, use the “Back” button to edit the form. After ensuring that all fields are correct, click on “Final Submit” button.

Offline Mode:

Following are the steps for offline fee submission:

Step 1: ILICAT 2018 Application Form can be obtained by visiting the institute.

Step 2: Fill all the details in the application form- personal, academic and work experience.

Step 3: Paste the photograph on the provided space.

Step 4: Attach all the relevant documents with the application form.

Step 5: Verify all the information carefully and submit the application form along with the application fee (Demand Draft).

ILICAT 2018 Application Fee

ILICAT 2018 Application Fee can be paid via either online or offline mode.

ILICAT 2018 Online fee payment-  Candidates can remit the application fees of INR 2500 by using any of the facilities– Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking

ILICAT 2018 Offline fee payment-  Candidates can pay the fee offline of INR 1500 via demand draft which can be sent to the institute by courier.


ILICAT 2018 Admit card

The admit card is the most important document to be carried on the examination day. The admit card can be obtained through following steps:

For online applicants: Admit card can be downloaded from the official website. 
For offline applicants: Admit card will be received either in person at the time of application form submission or by post/ e-mail.

Along with a photo ID, test takers must remember to take the ILICAT 2018 Admit Card. Entry inside the hall ticket will not be allowed without a valid admit card.

Here are some important guidelines:

  • Applicants who have submitted the form in online mode can obtain the admit card in online only.
  • Those who want to appear in the examination have to obtain the admit card before the given timeline.
  • Applicants would not be permitted to attend the exam without having a valid admit card.
  • Applicants, who failed to receive their admit card, they can obtain the duplication admit card by contacting the test conducting authority.
