MSIHMCT Pune and IHM Mumbai are the most sought-after choices among applicants each year. To secure a seat at either of these institutes, you generally need to be in the top 10–15 percentile of all qualifying candidates. For government-aided colleges in Nagpur and other cities, a rank in the top 30–40 percentile is typically competitive for the General category.

After all four CAP rounds close, any remaining unfilled seats are offered at the institutional level directly by the respective colleges. These seats have separate admission procedures set by each college and are not managed by CET Cell.
