Example From Class 7 Chapter 10 Practical Geometry

Ques. Construct a triangle where ∠A= 30o, ∠B= 60o, and the length of AB= 4cm. 

Ans. Steps of Construction:

STEP 1: Using scale and pencil, draw a line segment of length 4cm and label the endpoints as A and B respectively. 

STEP 2: At point A, we construct an angle of 30o.

STEP 3: At point B, we construct an angle of 60o.

STEP 4: The meeting point of the two rays from points A and B is labeled as C.

ABC is the required triangle that satisfies the ASA criterion of congruence.
