NTA SWAYAM 2026 Registration and Application Process

The NTA SWAYAM January 2026 registration was open from April 15 to May 11, 2026. • Step 2 — Visit NTA Exam Portal: Go to exams.nta.nic.in/swayam and click on the Registration or Application Form link once the window opens.
• Step 3 — Create NTA Account or Log In: New users register with a name, email ID, and mobile number to get an Application Number. Returning users log in with existing credentials.

NTA SWAYAM 2026 Admit Card

The NTA SWAYAM January 2026 admit card was released before the exams, which ran from June 17 to 21, 2026. The admit card is the single most important document for exam day — without it, you will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. Preparation Tips for NTA SWAYAM Exam

Preparing for the NTA SWAYAM exam is different from studying for JEE or NEET. There is no common external syllabus or coaching material — the exam tests only the content of your specific enrolled SWAYAM course. The best preparation is to engage deeply with the course material on swayam.gov.in from the very beginning of the semester.

• Watch all video lectures from every week: The exam question paper is drawn entirely from the course video content. Go through every module. Pay special attention to weeks where you scored low in assignments — these indicate weak areas that need extra revision.
• Redo every weekly assignment: Weekly assignment questions are the strongest predictor of end-term exam question types. Review each assignment from every week, read the correct answer explanations, and understand why wrong options were incorrect.
• Read all PDF notes and supplementary material: Many SWAYAM courses upload formula sheets, concept summaries, and reference readings alongside videos. These are directly relevant to exam questions — do not skip them.
• Cover all weeks, not just the last few: The NTA SWAYAM end-term exam tests the full 12–16 weeks of course content. Plan your revision so every week is covered at least once before exam day.
• Check in-video quiz questions: Many SWAYAM courses embed short quiz questions within lecture videos. These test concept-application in the same format as proctored exam questions.
• Use course discussion forums: Common questions on learner forums often highlight the most confusing — and therefore most exam-relevant — topics. Check if faculty or teaching assistants have posted any important hints or practice questions.
• Attempt all MCQs — there is zero negative marking: Since there is no negative marking in any SWAYAM paper type, always attempt every question before submitting. An unanswered question scores zero; an attempt always has a chance of scoring.
• Time yourself for 3 hours: For Variant A (100 MCQs), you have about 1.8 minutes per question. For Variant B (50 MCQs), you have about 3.6 minutes per question. Practise at this pace so you finish the paper comfortably on exam day.
