AMU School Admission 2020: Revised Schedule of Admission Test Dates Released at

The revised schedule for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 schools affiliated with the University has been published by AMU. Read to find out more.

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has published a revised schedule of admission tests for AMU schools on its official website.

The admission process for the academic year 2020-21 will begin on October 23, 2020.

AMU had previously announced a revised exam schedule for the AMU entrance exam 2020.

AMU entrance exam 2020 for admission to various university courses was earlier postponed due to a coronavirus pandemic.

The exams will now be held on November 01, 2020 for all courses on different days.

The national entrance exam was affected by the pandemic of COVID-19 just like other competitive exams.

According to Mujibullah Zubairi, the wearing of masks will be compulsory and social distances will be observed by increasing the number of test centres.

Applicants identified as suffering from fever will be allocated special isolation rooms in the examination centres, he told the media house.

The University will hold phased examinations. In the first phase, from October 23, 2020 to November 10, 2020, admission tests will be held for a number of courses, including BA, BSc, BCom, BED and MBA.

As per the revised schedule, the entrance to Class 6 schools affiliated to the university will take place on 23 October.

This will be followed by a Class 9 admission test on October 27, 2020, said the university's spokesperson. Admission tests for senior secondary schools will take place on November 01, 2020.

According to AMU spokesperson Shafay Kidwai, the varsity will later announce the schedule for the remaining courses.

He said that no date has been finalised for the completion of the review process as of now.
