CCMT 2026 National Spot Round registration and online choice filling has opened at ccmt.admissions.nic.in. Fresh candidates can register till August 4 by 12:30 PM. Seat allotment result will be declared on August 5, 2026.
The Centralised Counselling for M.Tech., M.Arch., M.Plan. and M.Des. Admissions (CCMT) has opened the National Spot Round (NSR) 2026 at ccmt.admissions.nic.in. Fresh registration and online choice filling began on August 1, 2026. The seat allotment result for the round will be declared on August 5, 2026.
The NSR is the final counselling round of the 2026 admission season. It covers vacant seats across NITs, IIITs and other participating institutes. Candidates with valid GATE 2024, GATE 2025 or GATE 2026 scores can apply.

The entire NSR window runs across five working days. Candidates must complete each step before the listed cut-off time.

Who Is Eligible for CCMT 2026 NSR?
Candidates must hold a valid GATE score from 2024, 2025 or 2026. NRI candidates with a recognised foreign degree and a valid GATE score can also apply.
Both fresh applicants and candidates who registered during the earlier CCMT counselling rounds may participate in the National Spot Round.

CCMT 2026 NSR Registration Fee
Candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee to complete the NSR application process. The amount varies according to the candidate’s category.

The registration fee can be paid through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.
Any Seat Acceptance Fee, Partial Admission Fee or participation fee paid during the previous counselling rounds will be adjusted at the time of physical reporting.

How to Register and Fill Choices for CCMT 2026 NSR?
The complete application and choice-filling process will be conducted through the official CCMT portal. Candidates should follow the steps in the correct order:
- Visit the official CCMT portal at ccmt.admissions.nic.in.
- Log in using the existing credentials or complete fresh registration.
- Pay the applicable NSR registration fee through an online payment mode.
- Open and check the vacant seat matrix released on August 1, 2026.
- Fill and lock the preferred institute-programme choices before 5:30 PM on August 4, 2026.
The National Spot Round is the last chance to secure an M.Tech seat at NITs and IIITs this cycle. No further CCMT counselling round will be held after August 5.
