Chhattisgarh NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Registration Opens; Check Last Date to Apply

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh has opened Round 1 registration for the state National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 counselling. Eligible candidates can now apply on the official portal at cgdme.admissions.nic.in. The registration window opened on August 9, 2026.

The last date to complete online registration and fee payment is August 16, 2026. Choice filling and locking will remain open until August 17, 2026. This round covers MBBS and BDS seats in state medical and dental colleges.

The state counselling handles the 85 percent state quota seats in Chhattisgarh. The remaining 15 percent All India Quota seats are managed separately by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Candidates seeking state quota admission must register with DME Chhattisgarh through this portal.

Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2026 Seat Matrix

The state has published the Round 1 seat matrix on the official portal. A total of 3,575 seats are on offer across MBBS and BDS courses. These seats span government and private colleges in the state.

Participating institutes include Pt. JNM Medical College Raipur and CIMS Bilaspur. The list also covers Bharat Ratna Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial Government Medical College at Rajnandgaon. The complete college-wise breakdown is available in the seat matrix document on the DME portal.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Candidates must have appeared and qualified in NEET UG 2026. They must also meet the Chhattisgarh state domicile rules laid down by DME. NRI candidates must submit valid supporting documents at the time of registration.

Reserved category applicants must hold a valid certificate issued by the competent authority. All eligibility conditions listed in the official notice dated August 7, 2026 must be met before applying.

5. Pay the counselling registration fee using net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
6. Move to the choice filling module and select preferred colleges and courses.
7. Lock the choices before the deadline and download the confirmation page.
