Who Is Eligible for the CSAB Supernumerary Round?
This round is reserved for candidates from four specific Union Territories. It is not open to students from any other state or UT.
- Andaman and Nicobar Islands
- Lakshadweep
- Daman and Diu
- Dadra and Nagar Haveli
Selection is made strictly on the basis of JEE Main 2026 rank. Candidates must have registered for this dedicated counselling window earlier.

Seat Acceptance Fee Structure

The fee includes a non-refundable CSAB processing charge of Rs 5,000. Payment must be made online through the applicant portal only.

Follow the steps below to view your allotment status without confusion.
- Visit the official portal at csab.nic.in.
- Click on the CSAB Supernumerary section on the homepage.
- Open the applicant login page linked to admissions.nic.in.
- Enter your JEE Main application number and password.
- View the allotment letter and download a copy.
How to Pay the Seat Acceptance Fee and Upload Documents?
Allotted candidates must accept the seat and finish online payment on time. Any delay will cancel the allotted seat automatically.
- Log in to the applicant portal at admissions.nic.in.
- Confirm acceptance of the allotted seat online.
- Upload scanned documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the fee through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
- Download the payment receipt for future reference.
The Supernumerary Round is India's only counselling window for four Union Territories without their own NIT. Extra seats are carved out at NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, and SVNIT Surat for these applicants.
