The Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has scheduled the Second Real Time Admission for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) 2026 programme on July 17, 2026. The notification has been issued on the official admissions portal at admissions.cusat.ac.in. Candidates included in the published rank list must report in person on the scheduled date.
The admission drive will be held at the School of Management Studies (SMS) on the CUSAT main campus at Thrikkakara, Kochi. Candidates must carry all original documents and the prescribed admission fee. Seats will be offered on the spot based on rank and seat availability.

What Is a Real Time Admission at CUSAT?
Real Time Admission is a spot allotment process conducted by CUSAT. Shortlisted candidates must report physically on a fixed date. Seats are allotted based on the candidate’s merit rank, category and seat availability.
The second round is conducted when vacancies remain after the first round. Candidates who did not take admission in the first round may also attend. Candidates who remain absent on July 17, 2026, may forfeit their claim to admission.

Who Is Eligible to Attend?
Only candidates whose names appear on the CUSAT MBA 2026 rank list are eligible to attend. The rank list is prepared using valid CAT, KMAT or CMAT scores. Candidates must also hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with the prescribed minimum marks.
Candidates who have already secured admission in the first real time admission round do not need to report again. Vacant seats remaining after the first round will be filled during the second round. Category-wise reservation rules will apply during seat allotment.

- Scorecard of the qualifying entrance examination
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates

- Community, income or nativity certificate, wherever applicable
- Recent passport-size photographs

CUSAT MBA 2026 Fee Structure
Candidates must be ready to pay the admission fee on the reporting day. The total academic fee for the two-year MBA programme is approximately Rs 2.17 lakh. Additional departmental or university-level charges may apply at the time of admission.

CUSAT MBA 2026 Seat Intake
The School of Management Studies, CUSAT, offers 120 seats in the full-time MBA programme. Around 50 percent of the seats are available under the general merit category, while the remaining seats are allotted according to the Kerala government reservation rules.
A separate quota is available for candidates having at least three years of supervisory or executive experience. This quota accounts for 50 percent of the seats under the working executives category. Vacant executive-category seats may be filled according to the applicable university admission rules.
The second real time round is often the last major on-spot chance to enter CUSAT MBA 2026. Candidates who miss July 17 without prior intimation usually lose their claim on the seat. Reaching the venue early with a complete document set is critical.
