ICAI CA Intermediate and Foundation January 2027 Exam Dates Out; Check Full Schedule

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the schedule for the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Intermediate and Foundation examinations for the January 2027 session. The official notification is now available on the ICAI website at icai.org. The complete date sheet has been published as a PDF advisory on the ICAI examination portal.

The examinations will be conducted at designated centres across India and select overseas locations. Aspirants preparing under the New Scheme of Education and Training must plan their registrations as per the announced timeline. The Board of Studies has confirmed that all papers will follow the new scheme syllabus.

ICAI January 2027 Examination Important Dates

Session Timings and Mode

The Foundation papers will be held in a single afternoon session on each scheduled day. The Intermediate papers will be conducted in the standard morning session slot as per ICAI practice. Both examinations will be held in the pen-and-paper offline mode at ICAI-designated centres.

Foundation Papers 3 and 4 will remain objective-type with negative marking. All other Foundation and Intermediate papers will follow the descriptive-plus-objective pattern under the New Scheme.

ICAI January 2027 Exam Structure

The ICAI Foundation course covers four papers under the New Scheme. The Intermediate course is split into two groups, with three papers in each group. Students may appear for a single group or both groups together.

Application Form Window

ICAI opens the examination application form on the Self Service Portal (SSP) ahead of every session. Candidates must submit the form during the specified application window to secure a seat at their preferred centre. Late applications are accepted only within the extended window on payment of an additional fee.

Documents Required for the Application

2. Log in using the registered SSP credentials.
