Indian Maritime University Chennai has extended the PGDMS 2026-27 application deadline to July 24, 2026. Eligible graduates can now apply online for the Post Graduate Diploma in Maritime Sustainability at imu.edu.in.

The Indian Maritime University (IMU), Chennai has extended the Post Graduate Diploma in Maritime Sustainability (PGDMS) 2026-27 application deadline. Eligible candidates can now submit the online application form till July 24, 2026, through the official website at imu.edu.in. The earlier application deadline was July 17, 2026.
The PGDMS is a full-time, non-residential diploma programme offered at the IMU Chennai Campus. The programme focuses on green shipping, environmental regulations and sustainable maritime practices. It is conducted across two semesters.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
The programme is open to graduates from any recognised university. The academic eligibility requirements prescribed by IMU are given below:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
- Applicants must have secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree.
- Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in English at the Class 10, Class 12 or degree level.
- A 5% relaxation in qualifying degree marks is available for SC and ST candidates.
- The English marks requirement applies to all categories and no relaxation is provided.

Candidates must complete the application process through the official online form available on the IMU admissions page. Follow the steps given below:
