The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has opened the registration link for the class 12 students who are yet to appear for the HSC examinations.
Students of Class 12 of Kashmir Division and Ladakh who enrolled in schools of summer zone areas can register through the link available on the official website.
As per the official notification released, the registration is for those class 12 students who have moved to their native places due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
While registration, students are required to fill the details like, name, registration number, roll number, name of the exam at Jammu, remaining subjects in which they have to appear, mobile number. The registration link is available on the official website - jkbose.ac.in.
The official notification also recommends that the students may also apply to the concerned Assistant Secretaries in the nearest BoSE Offices within 7 days.
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education which had earlier on postponed the class 12 examinations due to the COVID-19 lockdown situation in the state have not yet released a revised schedule of the remaining examinations to be conducted.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had also decided to allow students to change their exam centres for the convenience of the students who have left for native places.
The board has decided to conduct the remaining class 10 and 12 board examinations in the respective schools of the students' native places instead of the allotted exam centres in order to keep the students safe during the crisis.
