Kaspersky has teamed up with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance cybersecurity research and educational initiatives within the institute.

New Delhi:Kaspersky, a global cybersecurity company, and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi have established a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The collaborative objective is to promote the advancement of cybersecurity research and educational initiatives within the institute.

The agreement solidifies the partnership between Kaspersky and IIT Delhi, dedicated to advancing cybersecurity education and research with the goal of enhancing India's cybersecurity workforce. 

Further, this collaboration highlights the mutual commitment of both entities to bolster cooperation, ultimately enhancing the security of the nation's computing landscape and extending its impact globally.

Under the MoU, there will be a mutual exchange of expertise, knowledge sharing, development of educational resources, organization of cybersecurity awareness events, and the endorsement of academic excellence through awards or prizes. 

These initiatives are designed to spark and nurture interest among IIT Delhi students in pursuing careers in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Cybersecurity.

This collaboration will enhance the desirability of IIT Delhi graduates in the job market by incorporating the institute's educational and scientific activities into new training courses and programs. These endeavors will equip graduates with sought-after competencies, enhancing their readiness for the workforce. 

Highlighting the importance of this partnership, Professor Preeti Ranjan Panda, Dean of Corporate Relations at IIT Delhi, underscored the crucial role that educational institutions play in equipping the younger generation to address evolving cyber threats.
