KEA will revise KCET 2026 ranks after verifying revised Class 12 marksheets. Candidates whose scores changed after revaluation must submit updated marksheets in person at the KEA Malleswaram office between July 4 and July 6, 2026.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released a fresh KCET 2026 notice. The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) ranks will be revised soon. The revision covers candidates whose Class 12 marks changed after board revaluation.
The notice appeared on the official portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. It sets a short in-person submission window for updated marksheets.
The trigger is the CBSE Class 12 on-screen marking review. Over 1.6 lakh students received revised scores after that exercise. CISCE and state board revaluations have also produced fresh marksheets.

How KCET Ranks Are Calculated
The final KCET rank uses a weighted formula fixed by KEA. The entrance test score contributes 50 percent to the total. Class 12 PCM marks contribute the other 50 percent.
The board marks are converted into a normalised percentage first. This value is then averaged with the KCET scaled score. The combined score decides the merit position in the rank list.

Who Should Submit the Revised Marksheet?
The direction is aimed at candidates whose scores changed after revaluation. Only students holding a fresh, board-attested marksheet need to visit KEA. Candidates whose original marks have not changed need not act.
Applicants from CISCE and state boards with revised scores must also comply. The rule covers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology score changes. Language subject revisions have no direct effect on the rank.
How Will KEA Verify the Revised Marks?
KEA will cross-check each submission through the candidate’s DigiLocker account. Only marks pulled from DigiLocker will be treated as authentic. The rank card will be recalculated after this verification completes.

KCET 2026 Counselling Schedule
| Event | Date |
| First mock seat allotment result | July 6, 2026 after 11 AM |

What If a Candidate Misses the Submission Window?
KEA has not indicated any extension of the window so far. Candidates who miss it will retain their earlier declared rank. The revised board marks will not reflect in counselling.
Aspirants may raise a written grievance at the KEA office. However, the counselling calendar leaves little room for late updates.

How to Submit the Revised Class 12 Marksheet?
Candidates must first collect the revised marksheet from their board office. The revised score should also reflect in the linked DigiLocker account. Only then can the marksheet be presented at the KEA counter.
Aspirants should carry both original and photocopy of the marksheet. A KEA officer will match the record with the DigiLocker version. A receipt of submission will be handed over on the spot.

Documents to Carry
- Original revised Class 12 marksheet issued by the board
- Photocopy of the revised marksheet for KEA records
- KCET 2026 admission ticket and rank card printout
- Valid photo identity card such as Aadhaar or PAN
A small change in board marks can shift a KCET rank sharply. That shift can decide the branch and college offered in counselling. Skipping the submission window locks the earlier rank in place.
Action Plan for Candidates
- Collect the revised Class 12 marksheet from your board office.
- Confirm the new marks reflect in your DigiLocker account.
- Arrange the original marksheet plus a photocopy for KEA.
- Reach the KEA office in Malleswaram within the submission window.
- Track the mock seat allotment result on the official portal.
Watch for the revised KCET 2026 rank card release on the official portal. The first round seat allotment updates will follow soon.
