CEE Kerala has extended the profile rectification window for NEET MDS 2026 applicants to July 17. Candidates can correct defects in their submitted documents through cee.kerala.gov.in before the new deadline.

Kerala NEET MDS 2026 Correction Window Extended to July 17

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has extended the deadline for the NEET MDS 2026 correction facility. Candidates can now rectify profile and document defects until July 17, 2026, through the official portal at cee.kerala.gov.in.

The correction window originally opened on July 8, 2026.  NEET MDS 2026 is the qualifying entrance examination for admission to Master of Dental Surgery programmes. Kerala counselling covers state quota seats in government dental colleges and all seats in self-financing dental colleges.

Who Should Use the Correction Facility?

The correction facility is available for candidates whose application profiles contain defects or discrepancies. CEE Kerala flags these defects after scrutinising the submitted applications. Applicants must log in to the portal and check their application status.

Defects may be related to uploaded documents, personal information, category certificates or eligibility proofs. Candidates who fail to correct the defects before July 17, 2026, may face rejection of their applications. No further extension has been announced yet.

How to Rectify Defects on the CEE Kerala Portal?

Candidates can access the correction dashboard by following these steps:

  • Visit the official portal at cee.kerala.gov.in/mdsonline2026.
  • Log in using the NEET Roll Number and Application ID.
  • Enter the Date of Birth and Access Code.
  • Complete the CAPTCHA and open the profile dashboard.
  • Review the list of defects flagged by CEE Kerala.
  • Upload the corrected documents or update the required details.
  • Save the changes and download the updated confirmation page.

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid through online modes only. Candidates can make the payment using net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.

Why This Extension Matters

Kerala runs its own MDS counselling for state quota and self-financing seats. A rejected application here means losing access to these seats. The two extra days give candidates a final chance to save their profiles.
