Telangana NEET MDS 2026 Provisional Merit List Released; Check Steps to Raise Objections by September 9

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has released the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) 2026-27 provisional merit list on the official website at knruhs.telangana.gov.in. The list has been prepared for admissions under the Competent Authority Quota. It covers candidates who qualified for NEET-MDS 2026 and registered through the counselling portal at tsmds.tsche.in.

Candidates who find any discrepancy in their rank or personal details can raise objections. Grievances must reach the university by 12:00 noon on September 9, 2026. Objections received after the deadline will not be considered for correction.

How to Raise Objections Against the Provisional Merit List?

Candidates spotting an error in the list must follow the prescribed process. Every objection must be supported by scanned documentary proof. Emails submitted without the necessary documents may be rejected by the university.

1. Visit the KNRUHS official website and download the provisional merit list PDF.
2. Locate your entry using your NEET-MDS 2026 roll number or rank.
3. Verify your name, category, NEET-MDS score and merit rank.
4. Draft a written grievance mentioning the exact discrepancy and correction required.
5. Attach scanned copies of the NEET-MDS scorecard, category certificate and BDS marks memo.
6. Email the objection to knrugadmission@gmail.com before 12:00 noon on September 9, 2026.

Who Is Eligible for Telangana MDS 2026-27 Admissions?

Only candidates meeting the NEET-MDS 2026 cutoff and prescribed BDS eligibility norms qualify for admission. The eligibility conditions set by KNRUHS are listed below.

• The candidate must hold a BDS degree from a Dental Council of India-recognised institution.
• The compulsory rotating internship must have been completed on or before May 31, 2026.
• General category candidates must secure at least the 50th percentile in NEET-MDS 2026.
• Reserved category candidates must secure the 40th to 45th percentile, as applicable under the rules.
• Candidates must satisfy the Telangana local, non-local or unreserved status norms.

What Happens After the Objection Window Closes?

KNRUHS will review every grievance submitted with valid documentary proof. The university will then publish the final merit list on its official website. The seat matrix and web-based option-entry schedule will be released afterward.

Seat allotment under the Competent Authority Quota will be conducted through online option entry. Candidates must exercise their web options only after the final merit list is published. Reporting to the allotted dental college will be the final step in the admission round.
