MAH MBA CET CAP 2026 Round 2 Option Form Window Opens; Fill by August 9

MAH MBA CET CAP 2026 Round 2 option form submission has begun today, August 7, 2026. Eligible candidates can now fill their college preferences through the official portal mba2026.mahacet.org using their login credentials.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra has opened the option form for candidates who wish to participate in MAH MBA CET CAP 2026 Round 2 counselling. This is a fresh opportunity for candidates to select colleges and courses according to their preference order.

MAH MBA CET CAP 2026 Round 2 Key Timeline

Candidates must fill a fresh option form for every CAP round. The preferences submitted in Round 1 will not carry forward to Round 2. Each candidate can select multiple colleges and courses in order of preference through their login portal.

The option form submission window closes on August 9, 2026. Candidates who fail to submit and confirm their option form within this deadline will not be considered for Round 2 allotment. Online confirmation is mandatory after filling the form.

How to Fill MAH MBA CET CAP 2026 Round 2 Option Form?

• Candidates should log in to mba2026.mahacet.org using their application number and date of birth.
• After login, they can access the option form and select colleges in their preferred order.
• The portal allows candidates to modify their preferences before final submission.
• Once preferences are selected, candidates must click the confirm button to finalize their option form.
• After confirmation, the form cannot be changed or cancelled under any circumstances.
• Candidates are advised to carefully review their selections before confirming.

MAH MBA CET CAP 2026 Seat Acceptance Fee Details

The seat acceptance fee for CAP Round 2 is Rs. 1,000 for all candidates. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid online through the candidate's login during the seat acceptance window. The fee is payable only once during the first seat acceptance.

Candidates who accept a seat in Round 2 must report to the allotted institute within the specified timeline. They need to submit required documents and pay the admission fee to confirm their enrollment officially.

What’s Next 

The provisional allotment list for Round 2 will be displayed on August 12, 2026. Candidates can then accept or reject their allotted seat through their login. Those who accept seats must report to their allotted institute by August 17, 2026.

Candidates seeking better college options can choose the betterment option and participate in subsequent CAP rounds. However, they must pay the seat acceptance fee and carefully consider this decision as it cannot be reversed.
