MCC Releases NEET MDS 2026 Round 3 and Stray Round Counselling Schedule; Check Registration Dates

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2026 Round 3 and Stray Vacancy Round counselling schedule on the official website at mcc.nic.in. The notification carries the state-wise schedule for postgraduate dental admissions.

Round 3 will be conducted from October 3 to October 11, 2026 for All India Quota, Deemed and Central Universities. State counselling will run from October 6 to October 12, 2026. The last date for joining the allotted institute under Round 3 is October 19, 2026.

The Stray Vacancy Round follows next. The All India Quota, Deemed and Central Universities Stray Vacancy Round will run from October 22 to October 29, 2026. State counselling for the Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted from October 24 to October 30, 2026. The last date of joining is November 5, 2026.

The counselling covers the 50 percent All India Quota seats and 100 percent seats in deemed and central universities. State quota seats are handled by respective state authorities under a parallel schedule.

Who Is Eligible for NEET MDS 2026 Round 3 Counselling?

Candidates who cleared NEET MDS 2026 are eligible for Round 3. Those who did not secure a seat in the earlier rounds can apply. Fresh registration is required for candidates who did not participate before.

Candidates already allotted a seat in Round 2 and joined it may be barred from Round 3 free exit. The rules on resignation and upgradation are detailed in the MCC information bulletin on the portal.

How to Register for MCC NEET MDS 2026 Round 3?

Candidates must complete the registration process online through the MCC portal. The steps below explain the flow.

1. Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
2. Click on the NEET MDS Counselling 2026 link on the homepage.
3. Select New Registration and enter NEET MDS 2026 credentials.
4. Fill in personal, academic, and contact details in the form.
5. Pay the registration and refundable security fee online.
6. Log in again to fill and lock college and course choices.
7. Download the confirmation page for future reference.

2. Check the fresh seat matrix published before Round 3 registration.
3. Keep all academic and identity documents ready in scanned form.
4. Complete the Round 3 process according to the October 3 to October 11, 2026 schedule.
