NEST Result 2026 Out at nestexam.in; Check Last Date to Submit EoI for NISER Admission

The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) has declared the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2026 Result on the official website at nestexam.in. The combined merit list has also been published on the same portal.

The merit list covers admissions to NISER Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. Shortlisted candidates have received invitation emails from NISER and must now submit the Expression of Interest (EoI) Form to remain in the admission process.

NISER has clarified that failure to submit the EoI form by the deadline will be treated as 'not interested'. The first round of admission will be conducted at the NISER Campus, Jatni. Candidates who fail to report on time will forfeit their allotted seat.

How to Check NEST 2026 Result and Merit List?

Candidates can access both the scorecard and the combined merit list using the same login credentials.

• Visit the official NEST portal at nestexam.in.
• Click on the "NEST 2026 Result" link on the homepage.
• Log in using your Application ID and Password.
• View your merit rank and section-wise scores.
• Download the scorecard and keep a printed copy for future reference.
• Open the Merit List tab to verify your selection status.

Documents to Carry on the Admission Day

Candidates reporting for admission at the NISER Campus, Jatni must carry the following documents for verification:

• Original certificates and mark sheets for verification.
• Hard copy of the filled admission form.
• Invitation email from NISER (hard copy or soft copy).
• Printed copy of the NEST 2026 scorecard.
• Valid photo ID proof, such as Aadhaar Card or Passport.
