What Do Freeze and Float Mean in OJEE Counselling?
Freeze means the candidate accepts the allotted seat and exits later rounds. Float means the candidate keeps this seat and seeks a better one. A Float candidate may move to a higher preference in Round 2. The seat is upgraded only if a preferred choice becomes available.
Missing the July 12 reporting deadline cancels the allotted seat automatically. The vacated seat then rolls into the Round 2 counselling pool. OJEE deadlines are strict and are rarely extended.
