Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2026 Process

Seats are distributed across State Quota, Management Quota and NRI Quota. As per Tamil Nadu rules, 85 percent of state seats are reserved for candidates with Tamil Nadu nativity. The remaining seats follow the All India Quota route.
Tamil Nadu offers one of the largest MBBS seat pools in India. Government colleges hold around 5,550 seats. Private and self-financing colleges add nearly 7,500 more. A valid state registration is the only route to access these seats under the 85 percent state quota.
