UPCATET 2020 Exam to be conducted on 18th, 19th, and 20th of August

Despite the COVID-19 situation, UPCATET 2020 examination is finally being conducted. The dates mentioned in the notice are 18th, 19th, and 20th of August 2020. Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur, the conducting body of the examination has mentioned that the classrooms are well-sanitized and the students are asked to carry a mask, hand sanitizer, and a passport size photograph with them.

Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) for the UG program admissions is offering 1734 seats for the UG courses, 583 seats for PG courses, and 258 seats for Ph.D. programs to the students. The date, time, and schedule of the exam was earlier announced through the UPCATET Admit cards issued by the authority.

UPCATET exam will be conducted in the following manner:

• For UG Courses: 18th of August 2020
• For PG Courses: 19th of August 2020
• For Ph.D. Courses: 20t of August 2020

• Every right answer: 3 marks
• Every wrong answer: -1 mark
• For every unattempted question: 0 mark

UPCATET Exam Eligibility 

• 60% aggregate marks in the previous qualifying examination.
• The age range to appear for the exam is 17 to 23 years for the BVS and C & AH (as on December 31, 2020).
• For other courses, the age limit is 16-22 years (as on December 31, 2020).
• 5-year relaxation is given to the reserved category candidates.
