WBMCC has released the WB UG AYUSH Round 1 seat matrix 2026 at wbmcc.nic.in. Choice filling for BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and BNYS seats is now open for NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates. Registration began on September 17, 2026.

The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has released the West Bengal Under-Graduate AYUSH (WB UG AYUSH) Round 1 Seat Matrix 2026. Candidates can access the seat matrix on the official portal at wbmcc.nic.in. Choice filling for Round 1 is now open for eligible candidates.

The counselling is being conducted for admission to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) and Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) courses. Only candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 are eligible to register.

WB AYUSH Counselling 2026 Seat Distribution

The Round 1 seat matrix covers government and private AYUSH colleges in West Bengal. The seat sharing between State Quota and All India Quota is fixed by the counselling committee.

  • 85 percent State Quota seats in government AYUSH colleges
  • 100 percent seats in state private Ayurvedic and Homeopathic institutions
  • 15 percent All India Quota seats in private AYUSH colleges

Seats are allotted across Unreserved (UR), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories. Candidates must also meet the West Bengal domicile rules for State Quota seats.
