Awesome College with many facility likeSpacious Class Rooms with Audio-Visual Aids including Digital Podiums, Multimedia Projectors etc. Ultra – Modern air Conditioned Computer Lab. All laboratories having State-of-the-Art Facilities. Air Conditioned Multi-Purpose Hall with seating capacity of 350 persons. Well Stocked Air Conditioned Library. Air Conditioned Seminar Hall with seating capacity of 100 students. Sports Facilities including Synthetic Flooring in 02 x Volleyball Courts, 01 x Basketball Court and 02 x Badminton Courts. Wi-Fi Internet at College Complex. Biometric Attendance of Students

Course Curriculum Overview

Best college of nursing in India Includes 3 internal exam and one external exam.with clinical duties in military hospital.along with practicals.every week class test of each chapter.assignment.patient care plans.

Feasible Total fees is 3lakh 63 thousand for 4 years. They also give 40k scholorship to top 12 students and even TNA association also provide scholorship to the students who cannot afford their fees.

Gave entrance Selected in entrance and then interview and then admission. Army College of Nursing, Jalandhar was established in the year 2005 for female dependants of Army personnel/Ex-servicemen. ACN Jalandhar functions under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). It is affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.

Faculty

Very educated proffesors mostly from army. There are clinical instructors assistant proffesors,proffesors, military nursing officers, doctors from military highly educated teachers with great skills

An honest and brutal review for paramedical College

Likes

The most attractive and positive thing abt this college is that they have some really hardworking and educated faculty who put there 110 percent to impart knowledge
The college is really very disciplined regarding rules and regulations
The first thing they do in the morning is to submit our cell phones so that makes a huge difference and helps in concentrating

Dislikes

The course is difficult you have to study alot hard and work for yourself
They don't give us any holidays neither in winters nor in summers
The bus facility is tiresome no seats students have to hung up and travel while standing only

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i have choosen is valued Greatly overseas too that's why u took this course ..the curriculum prepares us for the real world as there are many practical subjects in thei degree i think private nursing college do not get enough opportunities for the clinicals and practical experience as compare to government college earlier it was semester system the syllabus was divided appropriately but now the syllabus students use to complete in 1yds the semester system students are completinh in 6 months from which 1 month is of duties and some subjects are really lengthy and difficult

College And Hostel Life

Likes

They gave home like environment to the other state students in the hostel
Mess food is Awesome and delicious 😋 and Hostel rooms are neat and clean with attached Washroom
Many functions and festivals are celebrated in the college as well as in Hostel campus

Dislikes

College Environment is very strict and strict discipline is followed

Placement Experience:

In 8 semester you are eligible for college placement... Each and every student can get placement through college in their parents hospital such as Amandeep Medicity and Amandeep Main Branch , Amritsar.. They provide package for fresher of annum 3.5 lakh/ year.

The best thing is that it is very affordable and enhance your knowledge at various aspects.
The second thing is there are extra hostel charges.
And conducts various conferences and workshops for enhancing students knowledge

Dislikes

The location of the college is not that much good.
You have to travel half an hour to reach market.
The hostel rules disallow you for high voltage electricals

Likes

Clinical exposure that is provided by goverment hospital.
My friend circle is very fruitful. The environment around is very friendly.
Teachers and seniors are very kind towards freshers.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college could be better
Lack of clubs for extra curricular activities
Canteen facility is not provided which is mandatory for college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I feel really empathetic to needy people and I want to serve my country. The faculty in my college is very good and up to the mark. All the faculty members are doctorate and their teaching method is also great. Our termly exams were not conducted on time and it was really difficult to pass.

Good college for nursing

Remarks:

Our college is a well developed college and has terms with the Indian army services. Although, the college doesn't provide internship to the students in Indian army but the college give training on the basis of their academic score so that all of the students can gain employment opportunities and serve the country.
