Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have been an awe of the English literature since my childhood. The course structure is helped me get a detailed in-sight view in the field of literature. From prose and English history, poetry to fiction, we learned about everything. The course structure tempted me to be more involved in terms of studies.

College Events

4

Many festivals and annual day celebrations are an active part of our curriculum. Rashtriya Sanghoshti Day is one such key celebrations. Apart from this, there are many workshops and seminars on topics like entrepreneurship and leadership, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is pretty nominal. One year fee for a masters course was a mere 4.1K. The college is affordable in terms of expenses. College provides all the basic facilities like auditorium, library, computer labs, gym, in-house medical facility, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are scholarship options available in the college. The college is very affordable and supportive in terms of providing quality education at a convenient cost.

Campus Life

3.5

The classes are a bit compact because of overcrowding otherwise it's fine. Campus life is okay, but can’t comment on the misogynistic life here, which is a good representation of the UP state.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the college is very vast. Many of these alumni are placed in well established in different fields, including some of the entrepreneurs. The college invites them for mutual sharing of views and suggestions.

Admission

The admission is on the basis of graduation marks. The college allocates seats strictly on the basis of the academic record of the person. The college is closest to my home, that’s why I chose this college to be my first choice of graduation.

Placement Experience:

The placement here at Sharda was too good. Students start attending the Placement interviews and calls from the last semester. I was personally made into 4 companies and 4 offer letters were offered to me. The average package is 3.8 lakhs per annum and highest was about 11 lakhs. There is 100% placement in every dept. but it depends on students if they want to attend or not. After getting the degree i studied for my PhD entrace and now i am working.

Remarks:

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU. Other : There are three main fests in our college, Kashiyatra, Technex and Spardha. All the fests are held at very high level. Participation from many IITs, NITs and other different colleges from many parts of India make our fests super big and exciting.
