Remarks

As the university comes under central Universities it is a good place for higher education. But keep in mind that, as the university is new there is lack of facilities. Apart from this the campus is very green. The campus has nearly 100 mango trees with nearly 50 guava trees and so on. The view of campus is masmerizing.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum of the CUJ is very strong. The course is designed by keeping in mind all the modern and new stuffs with all old applicable methodologies. The courses have theory parts with application parts. For basic science courses. You have to do the experiments with the course work. Since this campus was temporary, the lab facility is not good. There are lack of equipments in the laboratory.

Placement Experience

3.5

As I belongs to basic science stream, we don't expect placement. But there is also some placement offers for basic science students in CUJ. You will get better placement offers if you are from MBA or engineering courses.

College Events

4

Like other institutions there are always some events happening in the CUJ. Some sports events, some cultural events etc like annual sports and cultural event, known as Khelotsav. As the university is in tribal zone, every year we celebrate a tribal event in which we call the international tribes too. Some other events like International and national conference also occurs there every year etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the university is very low if you compare with the private colleges. For basic science courses per semester tution fee is only 7000 RS. for MBA and engineering courses it is nearly 12000 RS per semester. Which is still very much lower than other institutions.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about any scholarships provided by the college. But if you belongs to minority community, you can avail governments scholarships. If you are doctorate student then you can get stipend from the University as per the central government rules.

Campus Life

3.5

The available sports in the university are badminton, table tennis, basket ball, volley ball, Cricket, football, and all other indor games. Our volley ball and Cricket teams are best zonal team across the Ranchi City. Due to the temporary campus, they are not providing us a good lab facility. Maximum equipments inside the lab are broken. But they will arrange for the lab somewhere else.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

As the campus is temporary the hostal is not in very good condition. There is no any kind of maintenance in last 4 - 5 years. 24 hour electricity and water is available. The food is also good. But still you will get bored with the same food everyday.

Alumni/Alumna

Almuni of any college are always helpful for the Juniors. You can contact with the alumni via social network. Some are across the India while some are doing job in abroad. Some are continuing their higher education.

Admission

First you have to apply for the CUCET exam, where you have to choose tree central Universities. You have to qualify for the CUCET exam. After the exam, all University separately generates a merit list. Then you have to go through the counseling process.

Faculty

4

Some faculty members are very good, some are average and some are worst. But like all other colleges, you shouldn't really on them. You have to do your own preparations for exams and internals. Some will provide you good external exposure while some other will taught you well.

Placement Experience:

Our college does offer campus placements from 4th semester onwards. The companies visiting our college our mostly industry based hiring for the position of assistant and trainee for short term then after that fixed placement in that company after completing the given role. Companies such as Jindal stell, Glenmark, Tata Chemicals, Sun Pharma, etc. they do provide there on test and if we pass the test then they do a walk in interview. if we pass the interview then we were offered a role of assistant or trainee under the annual package ranging from 3 - 4.5L P.A.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is nothing specific about choosing it , it's just my interest on that particular subject for which I am there .we get proper notes and tips for our exams and also some life lesson . There is only thing which I find irritating and that's the gap between the exams like seriously how can expect from us to prepare 4 subject in just 2 to 3 months

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I type this, I am too excited to share with you that when I heard about this course in this college, I was not more excited or interested, but when was fully my parents takes my admission I was really so confused within one week. I really really happy and glad to have such a great teacher and department. When it comes to the timing of exams, along with perspective on their difficulty level, I told you that you can't even thought that how smoothly exam will over.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible from 3rd semester. When i'm there only local companies of the city are came for the placement in our college campus. But if other MNC'S are coming for placements in other colleges of the city then we were informed by the placement cell and teachers. Only 20-30% students got placed at our time. My plans after getting a degree is secure a entry level position in an organization. For that i'm also looking for the off campus placements. Right now many companies hiring off campus more than on campus. So, there are more chances to secure your dream job.

Placement Experience:

From last semester students because eligible for campus placement selection, there are many companies like to visit our college such as Wipro, Tata, TCS, Prabhat khabar, Dainik Jagran, Dainik Bhaskar, etv news, reliance, big bazaar and many more renowned companies. Usually companies offer a contract of minimum 5 to 7 lacs per annum for starting year. 50% students get placement here, because as I told you that there first year package is poor and the companies want us to sign a contract that we will never leave the company for at least 3 years which is not good in my opinion because everyone wants to explore different possibilities. I'm one of those 50% who didn't got the job, after getting the job my plan is simple I'll try to prepare for government job for 5 years if not succeed I'll do my family business.

Good college. Keep in mind that not every degree can be completed in four years. Some STEM fields, for example, might have industry or internship experiences that require an extra year for students to complete, and other colleges have a large number of working students who may need extra time to balance academics with jobs.
