Remarks

This is certainly an above average college when compared to other management colleges across the country. Symbiosis Pune is a premium brand name and it certainly lives up to its hype. The campus experience is fine but considering that this is a management

Entrance Preview

No written exam. Candidates needs to have at least a working experience of 18 months for getting shortlisted. Then the candidates goes through a rigorous screening process which includes group discussion, technical interview, and personal interview. The final list of shortlisted students are then given the admission offer. The batch size varies from 15 to 25(max) each year depending upon the quality of the appearing candidates. I opted for this course because it is very rigorously designed and in no way inferior to the regular MBA course. In fact, after 4 months of joining we become placement ready and sit in the placement process with the regular MBA batch.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is very rigorously designed. The course has been divided into two semesters and the first semester subjects (16 in total) makes you at par with the regular MBA batch. There are internal and external exams in each semester. After the completion of the two semesters students are required to go through a 3 months internship. The college helps in providing internship opportunities and in many cases these internships are later converted into full time job offers. Placements are also provided by the college.

Internships Opportunities

It was good. I got an internship offer at the end of my first semester. No stipends are generally offered except for some exceptions. But plenty of companies visit the campus for internship.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are good. Expected a minimum CTC of Rs 600000. The maximum varies each year depending upon the students performance. The average package also varies each year depending upon the maximum package offer.

College Events

3

There are plenty. To start with, there is a lot of industry interactions and guests from various industry domains visit the campus regularly. Then there are cultural events, TedX, cyber security week, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's very much feasible. Everything is wrapped up within RS 600000 including total academic fee, hostel charges, food charges. Rs 25000 is refundable.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facilities are available from all the leading bank across the country. No scholarships are being provided for this course as of yet.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio is pretty healthy in comparison to other institutions in India. There are plenty of student committees to organize various types of events in the campus. There are also students of foreign nationality living in the campus. The campus is very tolerant towards LGBT community members.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are good. Students have to share the room. Each room has got 3 students. Each students are provided with separate amenities. Each room has got attached washroom. Food facilities are brilliant inside the campus, with an option of both vegetarian an

Alumni/Alumna

A very strong alumni network exist for the college and this network of alumni helps a lot in the placement season. Homecomings are organized annually for the alumni.

Exam Structure

Every semester has got internal exams (mid semester) and end of semester exams. Apart from these, there are regular class tests and other various kinds of continuous internal evaluations.

Faculty

2.5

Faculties are generally above average but do not expect anything exceptional. Most of them don't have industry exposure. But guest lectures are there to give the industry insights.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
