Remarks

The college has fantastic infrastructure which would be essential for its reputation. I also has a separate building for library. It is even computerized.

Entrance Preview

The entrance examination i took is tamilnadu state entrance exam. I didnot have any interview process.i had only counselling process which happened in chennai based on the cut off mark secured.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college was affiliated to anna university chennai.So the course curriculum was best and the minimum qualification to become a faculty is m.e. the faculty strength was fair enough.

Internships Opportunities

Jsw steel,tcs,cts.Jsw provided 10000 for internship.Tcs provided only final year project opportunity.Cts also gave only final year project doing option.

Placement Experience

Nearly about 1000 members got placed from the entire college and based on different department computer science was good inumbers.Tcs,cts,ibm,satyam,caritor,csc,hcl,jsw.

College Events

The college has a separate cultural hall for it technical,cultural and management festivals. We conduct a state wide symposium evey year which would attract roughly 1000 participants.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible fee structure as it is government college.I paid only rs.10000/yr as college fees.also there is no extra fees collected apart from semester exam fees and college annual fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

I awailed family's 1st graduate scholarship. I received 1500 off from college tuition fees.i also have knowledge that collegw provides various scholarship for most backward and lower caste students.

Campus Life

The college has equal gender ratios.Evey year there would be hostel parties organized separately for boys and girls. We also have annual functions organized ever year.There is no political influence.economic status is very good.

Hostel Facilities

The college had almost 14 blocks for gents and an extra building built for post graduate students. There was a separate building for girls hostel.the monthly rental was rs.500.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Every year we have an alumni meet organized by the college management. It would be done by department level as well.we will be discussing about current market status,latest trends in market and guidance to juniors related to jobs etc.

Exam Structure

The exam and labs were very cool and spacious. The labs enough infrastructure like air conditioners, servers,electrical equipments with emergency fire extinguisher as well.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

I chose this college because I am a resident of this city Salem and wanted to be a day-scholar. This college is also NAAC accredited with A+ grade and also stands as the higest graded government engineering colleges in the whole state of Tamil Nadu. The transport facility for reaching this college is also easy for me as there is availability of college bus which goes around the city to pick up the students i.e. the dayscholars all around the city. I didn't get any rejection from any other college because I got this college in my first round of counselling itself and so did not go for any other options and was not rejected by any.
