Remarks

Its a rural area, transportation is little tough because this college is situated 10km away from vadakara town and placename is maniyoor road is very tough for transportation college bus is there for every angle of the area.

Course Curriculum Overview

Good curriculum it is under Kerala technical university, exam held by APJ abdulkalam technical university in semesters. KTU (kerala technical university ) is a credit based system. So students must pass internal and external exam also.

Placement Experience

No, internship but placement cell is there that provides good opportunities to students to get a job in good companies in kerala and other state also comes to place the students from college of engineering vadakara.

College Events

There are lot of programs are there to celebrate in an engineering college tech fests and arts also conducts in college of engineering vadakara the main tech and arts fest is conducted is quasso liberum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is a feasible fees structure for MCA and Btech courses compared to other selfinansing colleges and it is a government under selfinansing college under CAPE yearly fees for Btech is 35000 and for MCA 30000.

There is so many national and state level scholarships are there by the government but there is no special scholarship by the college for students and i applied for E grant scholarship by the state government.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities are there in college of engineering vadakara it is a rule by the kerala technical university and there are finite number of labs are there for each engineering streams and MCA also have seperate labs and sports, arts are there in all categories.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I have opted hostel but there is no college hostel for boys in college of engineering vadakara so boys will stay in other private hostels. Girls hostel is there in campus and with nice food and affordable fees.

Yeah, some friends of friends are the aluminis from college of engineering vadakara and information form them was very helpful to choose MCA course in that college and my friend also btech student in that college so that also was helpful to me.

I wrote LBS entrance examination in kerala and have got a Rank and allotted to college of engineering vadakara for MCA lateral entrycollege the allotment processes is based on LBS entrance rank, I have got the admission.

Faculties is are verywell graduated professionals they provide good classes for all students and provides good notes well to make students well prepared for examination there is a good interaction between the students and teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed MCA at Nirmala College due to several reasons: • It is a course which is open to anyone who has passed any bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% and above. The only prerequisite is that one need to attend the annual LBS MCA entrance examination to secure admission to this course. • The syllabus of MCA in this college is affiliated with that of MG University, Kottayam. It is a vast syllabus covering various applications of computer science including programming in various languages such as C, Java, PHP, Python, data structures, algorithms, statistics, data mining, machine learning, software engineering, networking, etc. • The course is theoretically good but practically it doesn't really equip all students with enough knowledge and understanding to be placed in a good IT company. Some portions could be excluded from various theory subjects such as Networking with TCp/Ip and Algorithms Analysis.

Placement Experience:

As all other Professional colleges, they are offering placement support to get students placed in the top companies around Kerala. If a student is appearing 3rd sem or 4th sem they will automatically be considered for a placement chance. The top companies which recruit from this college are Technopark and TCS.therevare approximately 50 placements are currently made. Even they recruit people the salaries are low for a fresher, as they're below 25000 rupees. Currently, I am thinking about looking for a job in foreign countries after getting my degree completed.
